I am writing this review 5 months after receiving it. I had ordered it for an elderly Miniature Schnauzer with back and joint issues. The only regret I have is I didn't order this for him years ago. He loved it the 2 weeks that he had left on this earth. I am so glad I purchased this for him. This made his last days so much more comfortable. He used it continuously. The bed arrived a day earlier than expected. It said it required letting the bed fill out naturally for 24 hours or maybe 48 hours before using it. It arrives with all the air sucked out of it in plastic and expands when its opened. I didn't follow the directions, he was miserable, so he started using it in about 4 hours. It held a dog that was about 20 lbs. very well. The bed was 2 to 3 inches off the floor, so it was easy for a little dog to get on with mobility issues. The outside covering is removable and washable. I washed it once and it held up well when it began to smell. Washing it multiple times I can't make any comments there. The inside padding didn't have any smell and was not washed. The covering is thin and if you hold it up to the light you can see the light through it. However you don't notice it unless you hold it up to the light. The fur hides the thin covering well and it looks lush and full. I think it makes the bed a lot more comfortable for the dog. I haven't had any chewing issues at this point so I can't make any comments there. The puppy miniature schnauzer has used it for several weeks now. He isn't interested in chewing this. I highly recommend this product for the comfort it provides especially for small dogs with joint problems. The negative things I could say is the zipper could be a little better made. I had to be cautious when putting this over the foam. The Covering was thin too, but I covered that earlier. There may or may not be better made products out there but for the price I ranked this a 5 star. It was cheaper than products I purchased at local stores in the past when prices were cheaper than they are now. If you have an elderly dog with joint issues do your dog a favor and order this for them.

Just got this last week. My dogs LOVE this bed. I have two dogs that share it, they're about 25lbs each. It came in a large box, was folded in half and immediately fluffed out to shape. When I put it on the floor, my male dog immediately got on it and started rubbing his head into it and rolling on it. This bed is so comfy that when my grandkids spent the night last Friday, each one of them ended up laying on the bed, they loved it too. LOL The fabric is furry and very soft but the foam part is sturdy. My 6 year old grandson laid on it to watch cartoons Sat. morning for hours and it did not flatten out at all. When just one of my dogs lay on it, they stretch out completely and are in heaven! So glad I got this bed for them. Update: I've had this bed for one month exactly and I just washed the cover for the first time on the gentlest cycle in cool water, dried in on delicate cycle. It came out like new. My dogs are in love with this bed, and so am I. They get so comfy on it and it hasn't flattened out one bit, and that's with all my grandkids laying on it too.

Got this for my 75 lbs 14+ yr old shepherd/hound mix so that he has a bed upstairs and one downstairs. As others have reviewed this is not durable- the case nor the foam is meant to last or hold up to wear and tear, especially if circling/pawing/moisture comes into play. You can with a single finger poke down pretty much to the floor, however, it is still pretty comfortable and provides better support than just a comforter or blanket on a floor when he is laying on it (I've felt around at all the pressure points of elbows, hocks, etc). He really likes it and it's soft but I am covering it with a folded up strong wool blanket to keep it cleaner and more protected. I do not expect it to last more than a few months before foam getting a bit crumbly but I think it will work for us for what we need it for. High quality more supportive foam beds in this size are hard to find for under $120 or so, so this makes sense for us at this point. When we visit my parents it does roll up quite nicely to stuff in my car's back seat or trunk. My dog has severe spinal and elbow arthritis and if he lays too long on hard surfaces his hind limbs fall asleep and he sometimes gets stuck and can't get them under him so this is a perfect option for him downstairs.

My dog loves this bed. It's large, quite soft, yet still firm, and apparently stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Typically in the summer my dog can be found laying on the tile floor. In the winter, the dog typically finds a rug to lay on. Since giving this to her, she's been on this mattress nonstop regardless of temperature. But beyond that, she totally knocks out when she's on it. Previously, she'd lay in her bed and every little sound would wake her. With this mattress she's the total opposite. She lays out across the entire bed and looks to be in total bliss. I was questionable at first, but as my dog loves the mattress, I see it as a great investment for her. The cover is removable, so washing is quite easy. The internal padding doesn't hold any smells which was great the day she ran into the ran before coming inside to lie down. In short, there's really nothing bad I can say about this item.

I bought this Jumbo size bed (44”x 35” x4”) for my 100 lb. Rottweiler. He loves it! It’s a little wide for his crate that is 44” x 30”, but he likes to lay on the part that folds up so he’s not up against the metal bars of the crate. It’s big enough to stretch out on and has a super soft top cover. I’ve vacuumed the top off a few times already and it’s really easy to get the hair and dirt off. I haven’t had a chance to clean it in the washing machine yet but that’ll be a nice option. If he was a chewer I would bet he would probably chew it up pretty easily. When beds this size run upwards of $100+, it’s nice to have a reasonably priced one. In fact, I’m planning on buying a second bed to swap them out for cleaning. Zeus loves his new bed!

It’s difficult to find a reasonably priced bed for a Great Dane, but this one met most of the criteria I was looking for. I’m a bit disappointed. The description online, and one of the pictures, indicated that the foam filler was egg crate style with a thick flat bottom. That is not what I got!! The foam is NOT egg crate, simply a slab. It does seem to be high quality foam, about 5 inches thick, and Duke Ellington the jazzy Dane has adopted it as his bed. We are keeping it in spite of it not being egg crate. The upper surface is like a fake fur, not elegant but nice. The bottom surface is pretty slippery, so the bed gets moved around very easily. It would be nice to have a bottom surface that is more “grippy”. I cannot comment yet on washability of the cover. It looks like it will e easy enough to take the cover off; the zipper articulated well ( I only unzipped it about 12 inches or so.) This item was purchased as an “open box “, but it appeared that the bed was never taken out of its plastic wrapping and had never been expanded. Hope this helps!

Our two larger dogs (lab great dane mix and lab mix) love it! they both share the same bed and it has made it 4 months so far. I've washed the cover probably 6 or so times at least. The bottom of the cover is wearing out at this point but the top where they lay is great still. The foam is perfect! it has held up great. I am looking at purchasing a new one because the foam just has too much of a dog smell at this point lol. and the price dropped by $10 so make sure you look at other color choices if you are feeling like its too expensive. I feel like this bed was better than the $30 round ones we were getting at costco. We liked the price but it was smaller since it was round and both our dogs insist on sharing a bed. the rectangular shape is perfect for that. Plus the costco covers shrink down and its a pain to restuff the inside. oh and the problem with mold! the chip inside the cedar bed made the cotton later (holding the chips inside) grow mold from wet paws coming inside after rainy days. No mold on this one. considering we paid $40 and got 4 months use out of it I'm ok. We technically could keep using this one but I'm just ready for a new one. at $30 if it lasts 4-6 months thats even better!

Love this bed for my Chocolate Labrador. Hes 85lbs and I have 3 of these beds. The memory foam mattress bounces right back. Zippered cover is easy to clean and wash. The fabric is cozy even after long use. Highly recommend this bed.

Quality of. Fabric and zip is of poor quality and price after even so-called 50% discount is not worth and overpriced , Not recommended

Great product, very large dog bed, my old dog is a large standard bred German Shepherd weighing in at 120 pounds and this is great for him and our smaller dog to curl up on together ( which they like to do ). Seems sturdy, has a great thickness to it.

Cover didn't last its FIRST LIGHT WASHING. Avoid! Don't waste your money on lazy cheap garbage. Absolutely pathetic. No accountability. No care or consideration for their consumer! You should be replacing your covers FOR FREE WHEN YOUR MANUFACTURING DOESNT HOLD UP TO ONE MACHINE WASH.
