Clinique Different Lipstick - Sugared Grapefruit

I've used Clinique products for years, including lipsticks. This one, Different Lipstick in Sugared Grapefruit, is a tad bit lighter than the color shows in the description, but it is still a pretty color and I have been using it. I don't wear very light lip colors and this has enough color in it that it has a medium pink with a little orange in it. Usually I can't wear orange, but the pink overrides the orange and it looks nice for spring and summer. My two favorites in the Clinique line are Raspberry Glace and Guava Stain which I once read that Princess Diana liked and used.I'm happy with the tube of Sugared Grapefruit because it is a little different from what I normally wear.

The lipstick has been discontinued by Clinique, so I have managed to purchase one of the last remaining tubes of a very nice coral lipstick. Yes!

Love, love, love the color! BUT.....cannot get that color any longer.

Sugared Grapefruit has been my "go-to" shade for a few years, now. Moisturizes as well.As an older lady (lol) this is the perfect shade. Not at all brash. Flattering.

It has a frosty finish which I guess is the "sugared" part of the description. Thought it would go on as a sheer but oh well...

This product was nothing at all like any of the other Clinique lipstick I have purchased anywhere else. Instead of being creamy to apply it had the consistency of hardened school glue, smelled bad and was an awful orange color- NOT sugared grapefruit. I doubt this was actually Clinique. I purchased several Clinique lipsticks during this time and the others were all just fine and lovely to apply and smell and lasted all day. This one, however was obviously spoiled or a fake.I'm never purchasing any product from this seller again as they would not correct the issue nor offer a refund for the spoiled lipstick.

I've been using Clinique products for years and this one is just another good product which I will use for as long as it's available. (l hope they don't discontinue it)

Not quite the new color by the same name, but if you liked the old color, or just don't need the exact discontinued version, why not get this? I like it. It seems to be authentic.
