This hose is exactly as described and is OK but I really had hoped to find something a little more durable. This is that cheap dryer hose, coated in a rubbery material. It may last a while but since I will be moving it around often I doubt it will last. Still, for the price I won't complain too loudly.

It works just as expected!

Worked perfect for a heat pump water heater!

(I measured the exhaust hood port with a caliper, and it averages right around 3"). I streatched it and streatched it. Using the bent handle of an old spoon helped a bit. Then I wondered what the red stuff was inside the hose. It was my blood. Got the end of the wire stuck in my finger. I made many such connections. This is the first time it's this difficult. I may return it. If Iwon't it's because with the prevalence of cheap imports, the next one may be no better. Already this is the second one I ordered for the same job. The previous, also from amazon, was a 4" when I ordered a 3". WTH! . Yes, I'm angry. Too much incompetence. Too little pride.

I put this purchase to use on arrival to vent my bathroom vent fan. It was simple to use and the provided clamps were very adequate to secure the hose to the inside and outside vents. It is well built and fully functional . I recommend this product highly.
