Sweet for derby
I like the "slimness" of this product. Most of us don't need a super beefy elbow pad, just something to keep from whacking your bones on the concrete. The single velcro closure is nice too. I went off the size chart and they stay in place nicely.

My fav elbow pad
I play roller derby and this has been a favorite for a few years now. I love the sleeve and the single strap. Fits snugly and has a longer life span that other elbow pads. My only concern is the grommets. I leave my gear outside to drive (covered car port) and I live in SC, so it's pretty humid most of the year. The grommets are actually the first thing to have any issue and will rust pretty quickly. I have fix this for myself by leaving my gear inside my house to dry, though my partner hates me for it cause my gear stinks. Pros/Cons.

Great for derby
Use for roller derby and they dry fast, are well made, and have been very comfortable

These slim pads were super tight in comparison
I'd been wearing the other 187 elbow pads in size medium for two years. They were too big, but came with the used set of gear I bought. These slim pads were super tight in comparison, but after wearing them for a couple of weeks, they've stretched a bit and are comfortable. I haven't fallen on my elbows yet, but these seem like they'll stay in place (unlike the mediums) to protect me.

Good for slender arms.
Good protection and expected to be better for sliding in a crash opposed to grinding. Using these for electric unicycle riding. Good for more slender arms compared to non-slim size. Less bulk as well.

Great thin elbow pads
These are just what I was looking for, my only negative is that they are really tight on the top compared to the "standard" version in the same size but I'm still breaking them in so they may stretch out a little bit.*I have been skating in these since my review and they are still a little tight, not much stretching has happened over time. Still great otherwise!*

Good protection
I am a senior walker and took a fall recently, so I bought these to prevent injury on our broken sidewalks. I am very pleased. They go on and off easily but do not slip, and the protection is good. I can wear them nderneath a coat but they won’t fit under a shirt.

SO glad I bought these
These pads saved me from shattering my elbow and radius in a fall. 10/10, would recommend these every day of the week. The doctor said I was lucky I was wearing them, and I feel lucky. This company has some grade A protective pads. Worth every penny.
