Stunning detail at your fingertips. The Dragon Model Can.Do #20055 is a series of 7 ELEFANT/Ferdinand and related vehicles. You are buying one (1) of a series of 7 tanks. You will receive one random member of the collection. If you purchase more than one (1), we will do our best to not include duplicates. We can not guarantee which tank you will receive. This series showcases the SdKfz 184 "Elefant" and related armored vehicles built on the same chassis. The Elefant (SdKfz 184) was an anti-tank vehicle sometimes called the Ferdinand, after its designer Mr. Ferdinand Porsche. Ninety Elefanten were manufactured in just a few months during mid-1943. It was first deployed during the Battle of Kursk and, though destroying 320 Russian tanks, performed very poorly in other respects: many units broke down and they proved dangerously vulnerable to infantry, lacking a machine gun. They went on to serve in Italy in 1944 and the final units were involved in the Battle of Berlin. The seven (7) tanks in the series include: Elefant Sd.Kfz. 184 (1.Kompanie, sPzJgAbt 653, Italy 1944), Elefant Sd.Kfz. 184 (3.Kompanie, sPzJgAbt 653, Russia 1944), Elefant Sd.Kfz. 184 (2.Kompanie, sPzJgAbt 653, Kursk 1944), Ferdinand (sPzJgAbt 654, Kursk 1943), Berge-Elefant (2.Kompanie, sPzJgAbt 653, Russia 1944), Bergepanzer Tiger (P), Befehlspanzer Tiger (P) (1.Kompanie, sPzJgAbt 653, Italy 1944) --- SPECIAL. NOTE: The pictures are factory stock photos and are representative of the series -- minor variations can occur. The Can.Do line includes extremely detailed static military miniatures. These items are sold pre-painted, pre-assembled and ready to go right out of the box. They include realistic camouflage patterns and weathering!
