Loved the idea that you could have a guitar toy for a younger child without the strings (safety hazard) but that felt like the real deal. The "strings" section senses touch and will play as a result of you strumming, tapping, holding down and other kinds of interactions with them. The buttons on the neck simulate where your fingers would go for chords yet give lots of different combinations of sounds and rhythms. Along with those two approaches are the buttons on the guitar body, which change the music sounds once again. Combine all that fun with a realistic guitar shape and strap and it really gives the kiddo the feeling of creating music like their guitar heroes do :)

It’s a little cheap feeling but that’s expected for the price. My 2.5 year old loves it and the size was perfect for his little arms. The strap makes it extra fun for him as he can wear it as opposed to his old toy guitar that he would set on the ground and hunch over. You can control the volume and there are different settings but the labels for the setting buttons are almost invisible so we have to guess which button is for what but no big deal.

I read the description that said "boys and girls" but failed to notice the pictures that show it's covered in flowers. Guess I'll let my son cover those in Paw Patrol stickers...

Initially this looks cute, but I wanted something for my son to be able to jam out to pretending to play the guitar. Problem is, none of the instruments it plays sound like a guitar... piano, drums, animal sounds, no guitar!! Plus the buttons along the neck are cheap and get stuck down all the time. Really disappointing

This does not have strings. More for a two year old than a 5 year old. Plays kids songs with a touch of a button but I thought my grandson could actually play it too but that is not an option

Horrible product, feels extremely cheap and flimsy. Broke the first time my two year old dropped it from about a foot off the ground. Looks red in the picture but its actually pink. Do not purchase.
