What are you waiting for?? Buy it!
I've used these for years, all my trucks have them. I only use firestone ride rite, I've had a set on an enclosed utility body SRW truck for 15 years, never had any problems and does a great job compensating for the extra weight of the body. These were installed on a 98 Ram 2500 2wd long bed diesel. Took about 2 hours and 6 beers. Super easy to install, I usually keep the bags at 25lb or so, and will add more if I'm going to hauling or towing. They are the best add on to any truck period.

Works good
Works good, not to hard to install. Does exactly what It is made for. Definitely worth the money.

Great universal kit!
We needed something to help with slightly aged leaf springs on our motorhome, and this kit was enough to add the needed 1" of bumper height to even out our 16,000lb class C motorhome.Installation, while rather lengthy and labor intensive (for this old guy who isn't as spry as he once was) is straight forward; drill holes, insert bolts, run air lines, inflate. Thanks, Firestone!

Great kit, Huge improvement in ride. Packaging/Shipping less than desirabable (Resulted in Missing Parts)
Installed on a 1996 Ram 2500 4x4 long bed Ext Cab 5.9 Cummins. My truck is equipped with a goose neck in bed hitch. I had to remove the extension rod accessible on the drivers side but the hitch is still usable. I just have to go under the truck to move the locking mechanism. Not a huge deal as there is plenty of clearance to crawl under it.I also had to remove the inner wheel well plastics in order to mount them.OK now for the comments on the bags. The box showed up with a huge tear in it and upon installation time I realized three of the spacer brackets were missing. I'm guessing they fell out during shipping. Not a huge deal as there is a shop nearby that sells similar kits and I was able to go there and purchase the missing parts. Ended up costing me an additional $25, so not terrible, but I wasn't too happy about the box condition after shipping and extra money. The quality of the kit is great and installed fairly easily in about two hours. No leaks. The improvement on ride and handling while towing is night and day. My truck is 22 years old and the springs were getting a little tired. The price of new springs exceeds the cost of the bag kit and would entail more labor so I went with bags.I love the the ride loaded and unloaded, HUGE difference for an older truck.Highly Recommended...Hopefully the packaging/shipping will be improved upon in the future so others will not have to go buy extra parts.

Firestone airbags
They work well. Installation wasn't that bad. Took about 3 hours to get everything installed. They don't warn you that the truck fenders get in the way of trying to drill the holes. PLUS. if you have dual tanks be VERY CAUTIOUS to not drill into the rear tank gas lines. On a Ford they are on "the other side" of the frame and are positioned exactly where the bolt hole needs to be. As they indicate in the instructions: Route the air line AWAY from the exhaust. That part is easy. The hard part: Secure it so it won't get anywhere near the exhaust. I thought I did. Nope. The line can be spliced with 3/32 tubing. Good product. Does what they say.

Expect to do heavy modifications...
We are a professional fabrication shop and we have installed RideRite kits in the past. They where never great but this kit is beyond bad.... Cheap generic hardware store parts tossed in with a universal kit that needs HEAVY modifications to fit in a 2001 F250. Really might as well just buy the airbags and make the brackets. Either way you will need a decent shop to make this kit work.

Good product
Had to shim the top mounts to my frame but other then that it was easy to install. The hose connector had some issues leaking over time so make sure u have a clean cut before installing hose into connector

Works Great
Installed in about the time advertised, but I chose to fab a small mounting bracket to be located above my trailer hitch. So some of the time was added for the bracket and the proper running of the air lines. Instructions were very clear and easy to understand, UNLIKE the Hellwig rear sway-bar instructions. Wife did complain that the camper swayed some before the sway-bar was installed, so they do help SOME with sway control.

Missing bolts
Overall good product but quality control could use a tune up, the package arrived with two of the main bolts missing, didn’t have time to return so just went and bought more. Would have given five stars if everything was there.

Hardware is cheep
This product contains poor quantity nuts and bolts they Bend and snap like twigs after traveling 200 km my left side came loose and rubbed my bag and popped it shame on you Firestone for putting a great kit together with crappy hardware very dissatisfied as I have to shell out 200$ for a new replacement bag

I think the product would work fine but it does not fit my truck
I think the product would work fine but it does not fit my truck. Even though I entered make, model and year when I ordered it.
