This is a Longpi Black Stone Cooking Pot - S - 1.5L popularly known as Manipur Pottery / Black Pottery. This product is made from a mixture of black Serpentinite stone and weathered rock. Legend claims that food tastes better when cooked in these potteries. Locally in Manipur they are revered for medicinal values. It’s widely acclaimed by the locals that using these potteries prevent morning sickness for pregnant women.It’s non-toxic, inert and non-reactive.
