I didn’t hesitate to order this book in spite of the negative reviews and I made the right decision. If I don’t like the style of turtle neck sweaters, I do not rate a knitting book poorly. I rate the book for picture quality, accuracy of instructions, etc. or I do not rate the book at all. This sweater book is lovely. There are many nice patterns and designs to choose from. It is a great book for beginner to advanced. The sweaters look so cozy and comfortable. I look forward to knitting many of them. I didn’t see one I didn’t like.

I like the patterns and photos. Unfortunately the book has damaged pages,wrinkles and small rips likely created when the book was printed.

Easy sweater patterns for color stranding.

I really like these patterns! Comfy, cozy sweaters to wear everyday. They are oversized fit, but you can always make a smaller size if you prefer a closer fit.

I agree that these are sweaters that are sad and droopy. The production crew doesn't seem to be familiar with blocking and the gauge seems to be off on each item---it's far too large. I'm sure these are beautiful yarns, but they are terribly misused. Also, the photography--although these are lovely locales--only seems to serve to frustrate, ie. arms, shawls, scarves, bushes and hair cover everything that a knitter looks at while making the serious critical decision about whether or not to knit that item. I just could not get a good look at anything. The photographer needs to take a careful look at Rowan catalogs, for example. I'm a huge booster of Scandinavian knitting books in general, and Norwegian knitting books in particular, but this is just a sad offering. Missed opportunity to introduce a knitting audience to simpler, easier Scandinavian patterns.

I looked at patterns by this author and the book didn't disappoint. They are oversized jumpers easy to knit but also stylish and great for winter wear. I am an experienced knitter and would say this book would be ideal for a new knitter, and for those who like big jumpers.

Great range of the style of jumper I love so I’m very happy with this book. Didn’t realise that they’re all knit on circular needles so my enthusiasm might lag a bit as I learn this new technique.
