I have platinum blonde hair, and this shampoo is awesome! This is NOT a purple toning shampoo for blondes, just in case you are looking for that. Paul Mitchell does have a purple toning shampoo called "Platinum Blonde Shampoo." The "Forever Blonde Shampoo" is a light purple shampoo and takes a quarter sized amount to get a great lather. I have a lot of fine hair that is super long (to my shoulder blades). It makes a lot of suds, but it doesn't leave your hair feeling stripped. My hair feels clean after using and very soft to the touch. The smell is amazing, and doesn't smell like a lot of the old lady flower smells in other shampoos. My hair is definitely brighter after using, and I pair this with the Paul Mitchell "Forever Blonde Conditioner." I use this shampoo every other shampoo, since I switch off with a toning purple shampoo to keep my platinum hair white. The "Forever Blonde Shampoo" is perfect for those blondes looking to cleanse, soften, and brighten their blonde do!

My hair stylist uses this on all her blonde customers. It smells wonderful and it makes my color stay vibrant!

I've tried every purple shampoo and blondage product I could get my hands on and this one takes the cake! Loreal, redken, opalex, joico, matrix, xmondo etc. If they didn't cause skin reactions or stain the living hell out of my hands/shower, they just didn't impress at all. PMs line not only isn't terrifyingly purple and stain destined, but it doesn't smell massively chemical like, and left my hair soft and shiny with no frizz, no tangles. Just pure happiness!

Leaves your hair softer than most blonde shampoos, but not add soft as a hydrating shampoo (which they don't claim this to be). Also, it does keep the blonde from turning brassy longer than just a color safe shampoo. Just make sure you have a good daily conditioner and a good weekly hair mask and your hair will be beautiful and healthy!!!

My hairdresser recommended this and when I flipped open the cap and smelledit I was sold!!! I bought my first bottle there at the salon along with theconditioner and then now I purchase it right here on Amazon (I save a few $$).I also love the leave in of this line / scent and my hair just loves it! I havehighlighted my hair for about 20 years so it is dry but healthy (as healthyas highlighted hair gets!!). I do have a verrrry sensative scalp (a new onsetdue to underactive thyroid we just found out) so I don't use this on the top ofmy scalp but I use it along the sides and back and through the ends and my hairsmells absolutely delicious for 24 hrs. LOVE IT!!!

Exactly as described

This shampoo was recommended to me by my new hair stylist. I switched salons recently because I was having a lot of hair breakage and it was so very dry. I have been getting highlights for decades and never had this problem until the past year when I started going to a new salon. Anyway, the new stylist that I am seeing said she thought the previous hair stylist was probably using a cheap product on my hair. She recommended this shampoo as well as the conditioner and it has been wonderful! My hair is not nearly as dry and the breakage seems to be stopping. It no longer gets tangled when I wash it either. I received this product just a few days after ordering it, well packed and in good condition.
