Perfect fit in my rigid table saw. Works great

This item is a little pricey. It fits my TS2410LS table saw with the orange body I purchased at the end of 2009 perfectly.

This is a high quality, sturdy metal throat plate (the description says it's made of plastic--that is not correct). The fit, metal ribbing pattern on the back, and color scheme exactly matches the original throat plate for my Rigid table saw, which is model number TS2400-1 (please check your specific model, other folks have remarked it does not fit the TS2400-0 model). Note that the opening of this throat plate accommodates a 8" dado blade, whereas the instructions in the TS2400-1 manual say that one should only use a 6" dado blade on this model. This shouldn't be too much of an issue; the opening is just going to be a bit larger than the blade on either side. In my opinion, the exact match and quality of this throat plate for this specific table saw model makes the price worth it.

Insert is quality made and fit saw perfect. Thought it was a little high priced, but what isn't these days?

This item is comparable to my default insert that came with my rigid tableware and I am really pleased with it. It took a few minutes to align and worked perfectly thereafter.

Fits my Rigid table saw perfectly. A must have if you plan on using a dado -stack .

Be aware of what TS2400 model you have. I have a TS2400-0 (Gray colored) that specifies an AC1040 dado insert but it's mis-leading. Not all AC1040 dado inserts were the same. The older models like mine required a thinner dado insert. This is a thicker one that won't work except on some of the later models TS2400 saws manufactured after mine. Don't make the same mistake and order it unless you know for sure it will fit your model or else you'll losing money sending it back.

Quality was good. And genuine part. I however returned because it didn't fit my saw.

Fit my Ridgid TS3650 perfectly. I'm certain this is a original manufacturer part and it came in original packaging. Nice heavy weight to the insert and it has the same type of levelling screws as the standard throat plate.

Needed one. It's a Ridgid original part.
