It’s good but it’s not amazing
Ok, so I am giving this 5 stars because it accomplishes what it sets out to do...make Mac n cheese. The taste is ok, it’s not amazing but it’s not bad. My kids are it without complaint. It doesn’t taste exactly like Kraft but it isn’t Kraft so no surprise there. We live in an area where we don’t have access to any type of macaroni and cheese so this works well when we can’t get our shipment in. Velveeta, Annie’s and Kraft taste better but it is better than the generic brands. I hope this review helps.

yummm!
I bought this cheese powder because of a new recipe that asked for this. I love it. The flavor is not as strong as Kraft cheese, but it is still pretty good. I like the flavor! Its very convenient to have. I am looking forward to using it in a bunch of new recipes.10/10 recommend!

Disappointed
I expected so much more from Kraft.. Not sure what I mean exactly. But I bought this in hopes that using it with various melted cheeses would add a stronger flavor to whatever my dish, such as Mac & Cheese homemade. Honestly, there is little change in my cheese sauce using it. The flavor doesn't seem to me to be as strong as the packets you get in Kraft Mac & Cheese in a box. Now I understand that probably isn't likely as they are already manufacturing it, you would expect it has to be the same product. Not sure why it seems different, but it does to me. I gave it an extra star, 4 stars, only because it doesn't make sense to me that it could be a different product, giving Kraft the benefit of the doubt.

Better Than Kraft Mac
Wawaweewoo this stuff tastes great. Great quality. Honestly better than Kraft Mac and Cheese. I love how I can boil any shape of noodles for my kids and use this to make the cheese sauce. You only need a spoonful or two depending on the serving size so you get so much for a great price.

Very salty, but easy to use
Easy to use. Same process as boxed Mac and cheese with powder packet. Has a nacho cheese taste and it's very salty. I'm not a huge fan of salty food though, so others might like. I'll use it up, but won't reorder.

Nope.
Let me start out by saying that I wasn’t buying this to substitute or make my own sauce, I just like to add a little extra to what they give you in the box. And I’m not that picky about what kind of cheese powder it is specifically, I’ve used a few different kinds and each are sufficient to up the cheesiness a little bit. I read the non-glowing reviews of this product and still wanted to give it a chance, thinking that maybe these reviewers just had very high, hard-to-meet expectations, and I would still be perfectly happy. Ha. I was wrong. The references to sawdust and flour in the other reviews were not far off. They clearly need something to dye orange in order for you to think there is any resemblance to cheese flavor whatsoever. Because in truth, there is not. The only discernible flavor is salt, but salt with a chalky aftertaste. I’m glad I only mixed it in a bowl of macaroni, instead of ruining the entire pot. Oh, and the foil seal was not sealed at all, just completely loose and inside the cap when I unscrewed it to peel it off. In fairness, it didn’t look as if it had been tampered with, it looked totally intact, but just like it had never been attached to the jar. So, I don’t know which is worse, that the quality control is so poor that they aren’t sealing their products properly, or the possibility that it could have been opened, tampered with, and still sent out. I rolled the dice, and it was not worth the $9 paid for it, as it’s going straight into the garbage. I know some reviews said they or their spouse were thrilled with/can’t get enough of this, but I have to assume that there is something seriously flawed with their tastebuds. As someone with a pretty low bar in terms of flavor expectations, this was awful. Literally any other choice in powdered cheese you make is probably going to be better. If you’re like me and still wanna try it, best of luck!

Great stuff
We had found this product at a local grocery store and our son loved it. It made any noodle taste like the old Mac and cheese that I had growing up. It's very easy to use and was definitely a better price even before our store quit saling it.

Amazing flavor
My children are obsessed with mac and cheese. I purchased this to see how it would taste. The family loved it. The flavoring it added to regular mac and cheese was amazing. It matched the cheesy powder that comes with mac and cheese. But it added more of that cheesier flavor. We didn't use it for much of anything else except for making the mac and cheese more cheesier. We'll definitely be buying more of it just wish it was in a bigger package cuz we ran through it fast
