Beekeeping Suit Ventilated ULTRA COOL Three Layer Mesh with Fencing Veil & Round Brim Hat

On my first use I used the fencing veil for the first time, I had to adjust the hive floor and bent forward, my bees attacked my throat which was unknown to me against the veil, leading to 4 stings which affected my breathing. I now use the other headgear which protects me better, even when looking down. A great bit of kit, it’s nice to feel a breeze through the suit.

I have 10 hives and this is the 3rd suit I've tried! I will be sticking with this one for sure! If I had to pick out a problem then the leg pockets for a hive tool are maybe a bit far back and could do with more material at the top to help stop catching the mesh when sliding the tool in but tbh Its being picky and i just use the arm pocket if i really need to put it away, also i may cut the velcro off the hip pockets as getting into them is a bit of a pain but then i also use a tool bag so meh! It's well made! The zips are smooth and the suit is super breathable! The hood stays up well, I've not used the hat as of yet! I would definatly spend the extra on this suit over a cheaper one for sure!

I purchased one of these as I am a new beekeeper, and wanted something well made, but be warned it is quite heavy.. compared to a standard beekeeping suit... but something that should last you quite a few years

Great suit - a bit big but better than too small. I am a Beekeeper with many years experience but have recently developed an anyphylactic reaction to bee stings. I didnt want to give up my beekeeping so thought id try this suit. It worked very well and felt very safe when going through hive. I now don't need my partner to be there with my epi pen when I go through the hives. It's made such a difference - fantastic suit.

I have just bought my second one of these so I have one in reserve. They are absolutely brilliant and so far sting proof!The one sent this time was XXXL instead of the XXL ordered and it looked massive. but actually fits OK and bee suits tend to be better oversized.The purpose of these suits is to make life bearable when the sun comes out. They allow any breeze to keep you cooler and comfortable.Shorts and 'T' shirt should be fine underneath although I am not sure how the 'sting proof' guarantee would work if one of the blighters managed to get through the three layered material!I did find a small split in the veil of the old suit but as it is just under a year old Oz Armour are sending me a replacement FOC. I just sent a photo including the zip and they replied almost immediately to say a new one was being dispatched. Veils do get damaged so this really is good service.The build quality is superb and as far as I am concerned the extra money over other suits is a small price to pay.My advice if you are unwilling to be stung is to buy one of these!!

Bought a large suit, but didn't receive gloves which I wasn't bothered about as I use medium sized gloves. Suit is well made, cool and comfortable. The plastic ribs for on top of the hood work well, only downside is you have to remove the ribs to get in the car, as you are unable to sit back. Worked on 20 defensive colonies without a sting. The elastic for the thumb was too tight for my liking. Very pleased with the suit and would definitely buy another one in the future.

The multi-layered mesh suit keeps you cool on very hot days. Ample head room inside suit, your face keeps clear at the front so bees can’t sting your cheeks/nose. Only word of caution, take care near brambles as the mesh can snag on the prickles.
