Cardboard People Christmas Tree Life Size Cardboard Cutout Standup

Perfect in my large attic window with a spotlight shinning on it. The neighborhood children seem to really enjoy seeing Santa in my house - I even found a letter to SaNtA on my porch. Great Fun! Worth every penny because it is a super easy decoration to set up and take down - that says a lot. The box it came in is nice for storing for future years. Candles in the windows, wreath on the door and Santa in the attic - done!

Our house is in full blown remodel mode after a flood in September. We are stripped down to plywood floors and bare walls while working our way through the morass of insurance problems. We needed a tree that was light weight and easily moved around so it didn't interfere with any of the remodeling crews. This was PERFECT! My partner thought I was a crazy lady nutcase when I told him I bought a cardboard tree but he loved it as much as I did. The photography is almost 3D like. It really looked like you could pick the candy canes off the tree. With 2 strings of lights, and a few binder clips to hold them on, the tree was magnificent! It even came with presents underneath. Love this so much! I thought this might be a "one and done" kind of thing but we will be reusing this again as an extra tree in the house next year. So happy we bought this!

Perfect for what I wanted it for

I bought this for our office to decorate for the holidays, it's fairly easy to assemble but the "tab and slot" attachments were a little tricky because of the cardboard thickness. Because of the size of the pieces, it may be easier for two people to assemble, although one person can certainly do it alone. For some odd reason, the assembly instructions were not on a sheet of paper or booklet; instead, they were printed on another large sheet of cardboard. The "stockings" are simply flat cardboard pieces so I replaced them with actual stockings for a more convincing appearance, although I wouldn't suggest filling real stockings with anything too heavy as it could make the fireplace top-heavy and risk tipping over. The overall look is good, and the mantle can support some light decorations on top like battery operated candles or garland, but it would be best to position the fireplace against a wall for support. It was also relatively easy to disassemble and store flat although some of the pieces are a bit large. In general, it's a good looking decoration if you don't have a fireplace but I'd toss the fake stockings and use real ones. I expect to get a few seasons' use from this.

After reading some of the reviews I hesitated to order this. However I was pleasantly surprised at how good it looks. It's not as sturdy as I hoped, but it will work well with our other Christmas decorations I deducted one star because I feel it's a bit overpriced for what's basically a piece of printed cardboard.. I plan to give it a coat of spray varnish as we'll be using it in a place where the humidity might affect it. When we get the Christmas display done later this month, I'll post some pictures and let you know how well the varnish worked on it.

Not deep enough to trust it to stand on its own without using something to attach it to the wall. The instructions are a series of poorly done color images printed on pieces of cardboard. The instructions are one-liner captions. The cutting dies they used to make this thing need resharpening or replacement. Many of the slot openings needed work with an exacto knife to remove the waste pieces without also tearing off the printed sides of the fireplace pieces. Flimsy, poorly designed compared to others, and poor instructions with crappy images. I've been assembling these things for my wife for 40 years. This one is by far, the worst yet. It's going out for recycling tomorrow.

I wanted to use this on my door, but it ended up looking flat. The quality is good, however I did not like the white edges. I had to trim away some of the edges that distracted from the cutout. The seller shipped ahead of time which was great. The size was ideal but I would not recommend this for using on a flat surface.

Sorry folks - the colour is poor. Washed out and not bright. The cut outs for faces are also very small. The shipping was fast and packaged well. We decided not to use this item as it would reflect poorly on the event we were hoping to use it for. Better to go without. Keep trying folks - maybe I just got a bad reproduction.
