These Home Soft Things 30" metal hairpin table legs have been an outstanding choice for a custom desk build and have truly stood the test of time. The metal construction feels solid and supportive, and even after years of daily use, they remain stable with no wobbling or bending. The included hardware made installation straightforward, and the adjustable floor protectors helped keep the desk level while also protecting flooring. The clean, industrial look still holds up visually too, fitting well in a variety of spaces without looking dated. Overall, this has been one of those rare DIY furniture components that not only worked perfectly at the start but has continued to perform amazingly well years later.

I had no trouble installing these legs, and they look great. I am not very handy, so, perhaps it will help you if I explain how I installed the legs. What I needed: Finished table top,, 16 lag bolts, nut driver, drill and drill bit, masking tape. Really, I needed all of this stuff! (Read 1 and 2 before going to the hardware). I used a pencil and a ruler too. 1. I measured the thickness of my table top - I had finished a piece of Butcher Block. 2. I took one of the table legs to the hardware store (I chose ACE) to purchase 16 lag bolts and a nut driver for the lag bolts. (To help you, they will need to know how thick your table top is. Your bolts (or screws) need to be shorter than the thickness of your table). I also asked what size bit might be the best. (If you need the bit and masking tape, don't forget that.) 3. From the tip of the drill bit, I measured how deep I wanted the bolt to go into the table. I placed the tape on bit at that depth. (nope, not on the point, near the chuck that holds the bit in place. The point to the tape is how deep you want to drill - it is a measurement smaller than the thickness of the table top.) 4. I used a pencil to mark where I wanted the leg (I put my legs about 1" inside the edges). I measured again. 5. Holding the leg in place and being sure I was on my pencil line, I pulsed the drill into the hole with the taped bit until it was as deep as the masking tape marker. (After drilling just a little bit of the first hole, I verified that the bolt was going to be the right size for the hole) 6. I put the lag bolt in place using the nut driver. 7. I drilled and placed a second lag bolt in on the leg before drilling the last two holes for each leg and driving the bolts in place. I did go back and forth between the drill bit and nut driver several times. This might be a slower way to go, but I suffered no setbacks or errors. Even going very slowly, this only took 40 minutes. Thanks to those who recommended the nut driver. This job would have been difficult without.. The masking tape helped a lot too. By phone, the shipper recommended lag bolts for my 1.5 inch butcher block, although wood screws could be used. The lag bolts work very well and I am glad I used them.

I wasn't sure what to expect for the price & these far exceeded my expectations. The "feet" are attached to the legs, much better than pop on ones. I find them to be sturdier with no wobble & the legs themselves are a perfect weight. These are being used to convert a sofa table to a coffee table & it will have 1/2" glass on top so having attached feet on well constructed legs will let me move the table easily. I'm a senior & very pleased with this purchase.

This set is really well built. Looks to be very sturdy and I like how it compliments the table I built, however, the screws were undersized (in my opinion) so I upsized them. I think if you'd made a routered in piece that the channel sets in and provided some extra side-to-side security that would help, but that wasn't possible for the table I made so I beefed up the screws.

These are the real deal. Solid iron bars wielded together then painted/powder coated black. It’s beyond my skill set to say which. As the seller noted in a response to a question the 16”18”20” sets have an adjustable foot pad. (Double check this detail, I got the 18” which does have the metal screwing into metal adjustable foot, the bottom feels like a hard rubber rather then plastic). As many commented the screws seem inadequate. We proceeded with the screws provided as I’m using the legs attached into 3/4” wood. We had 4 additional much beefier screws and intended to put one at each leg’s ends. But honestly after attaching them using screws provided it is stable and we are unconcerned. After looking at a plethora of legs, I am very pleased I read the reviews for each, that a fellow commented he uses these and they are excellent.many sizes to choose from too! ( pictured is my cabinet which needed legs, these legs look great! Now to put all the art supplies away 🥴)

Purchased Home Soft Things Hairpin legs in various sizes. We make old barn wood tables. These are my favorite because the feet are attached and adjustable. Legs are strong. Come well packed. I made one table with the legs that have small round feet that snap on....they are strong but the feet are awful.....just keep falling off. I will always purchase these. Wish they made a few additional heights for various uses. Spend a little more for these....well worth the investment for the strength and adjustable feet.

Nice hairpin legs for standard table height. We had a problem where one leg was damaged. See pic. Wasn't terrible but just that the mounting base of one leg was bent at one corner. We have to assume this is more of a shipping damage issue than a manufacturing issue. I flattened it back out with a hammer and everything is good to go. We plan to replace the leveler foot pads with something with pads of larger diameter and that pivot, but it's nice to have leveling feet so this is also great. Anyone looking to replace the feet, note that they are size 6mm x 1 screw threads.

I had the wood table top sitting in my garage for over a year trying yo figure out how to get new wood legs on it. I happen to be looking for table legs for my dining table when I saw this product was the perfect size for that kids table top I had! After lignin hit up and drilling some pilot holes, it was a 20 min project! My 1 1/2 year old granddaughter loves to climb on top of the new table (although climbing is discouraged, but she’s a toddler). The legs also have a plastic stopper on the bottom that is kind to the wood floors. The plastic footings can also be adjusted slightly if needed on an uneven surface. This is far more sturdy than the previous 2x2 wood legs (which broke, and Sat it in my garage for over a year). My 4 year old grandson loves to have his breakfast and lunch at this table. Perfect height for toddler and preschooler.

Legs are slick and Sturdy. Great design.. no need to throw old tables, just replace legs with this one
