Great starter
Got this for my son to make sure it was a sport he was going to stick with. First time at the range the instructors comment was how cute it was. My son was a little taken back but after several trips to the range his groups got tighter and tighter and this was with no sights. I had to put a screw through the arrow rest as the glue would not hold it. He has now reached a new level and I have invested a lot of $ in bow that meets his needs but this was a great place to start. We also had to tone down the power on this bow from 20lbs to about 13lbs as it was too strong upon delivery. It was easy to adjust. It did not come with a notch and one of the instructors had to put one on the string.

Excellent youth bow
I took a chance on this for my 10 year old daughter. I was wary because of the many complaints in reviews about the cheap stick on arrow rest. But, I also saw the reviews where others dealt with it by either tapping it for screws or removing it and shooting off the shelf. I saw that it was uber cheap as described by others and threw it away. Put a Bear Hair rest on it after filling in the voids with epoxy. Works great. The bow is light enough for a youngster and the pull and draw are just right for mine. She'll outgrow it in a year or two, but for $37.00, you can't beat it.

Arrow Guide fell off on walk from installation table to back door.
Saw some other reviews on the chincy arrow guide but thought they may have exaggerated a bit....wrong. The guide is really supposed to be attached with some double backed tape. We attached the guide and were very careful to ensure it was seated properly and on the walk from the table to the door it fell off. Absolutely ridiculous to think that this would stand the abuse of an arrow shooting through it. The peculiar thing is that there are two threaded holes just above the guide for switching the bow to Left handed that would be extremely easy to use in some fashion to secure an arrow guide with no further engineering of the bow. Have epoxied the guide on and we'll see how long that holds up. Bow is a descent starter for youths, 8 year old daughter handles it just fine, 11 year old daughter probably needs a bigger one.

It's really, just okay
The bow itself is almost 4 feet long- it's a good size. When I tried to test the draw weight, I don't think it reached the amount that they stated. I wouldn't recommend this bow for those that are trying to seriously get into archery. I bought this bow because it was cheap, and I needed it for a costume. Also, there's a part that you're suppose to screw on (the grip part) but the package came with no screws, and like everyone else reviewed, the arrow rest is a hook held onto the bow with a measly adhesive tape.

Junk
This bow should be listed as a toy. It is not good quality and the arrow rest does not stay on. I paid for a product that I expect to work for me - I should not have to fix parts of it right out of the box in order to use it! My son is a beginner and just joined a local archery team. When we brought this bow in the coach laughed and said that it definitely would not work for anybody serious about actually learning archery. I was very disappointed that this was nowhere near what I had expected to get based on the description. The seller, however, did deliver promptly and it was packaged well and that is why I did not give this item only one star.

Not very good
As other reviews have pointed out, the arrow rest is defective. It tears the fletchings off arrows and falls off. I had to hot glue it several times and it was hard to get it flush. We finally cut the top part of the rest off and it works better. The limbs aren't sturdy and they twist, leading to inaccurate shots. I bought this for my son and he's been mostly disappointed. Spend a little more money and get a better bow.

A Good starter bow
I use this bow in my archery lessons. Many kids build up to this bow, but, once they are there, they can stay with this bow for quite some time. I shoots well. It has great power behind each shot. The accuracy of this bow makes it a great deal for the beginning archer. Older kids and adults can shoot it, but the length is really suited for the 8-10 year old shooter.
