Atkinson's Mint Twists Giant Peppermint Stick Candy, Red and White, 2 lb

I buy one of these for my brother every Christmas. He lives peppermint and says this one tastes really good. I'm not going to lie, it is huge in person and very heavy. The first one I bought him he used a hammer to chip away at whenever he wanted a piece. The second one was full of cracks, so it wasn't hard to break pieces off. Still, I won't dock any stars for the broken pieces. It still looked and tasted great and I'll probably get him another one this year!

These are a blast from the past! So much fun, and they taste good too.

My son asked for this candy for the past 2 years. The many reviews stating the candy arrived cracked caused me to hesitate. My order arrived in perfect condition. The candy wrapped in bubble wrap and was cushioned inside the box with packing material. Also inside the box was a paper from the maker explaining in case of damage, how to request a replacement. My peppermint loving son was thrilled to receive the candy. I was thrilled it arrived intact. We would both order it again.

I can't comprehend why this received so many negative reviews. It arrived fully intact and wasn't broken. I've been searching for peppermints that actually have a peppermint flavor! I've purchased the small starlight peppermints from Brach's and other sellers here, and none of them had the taste of peppermint. It was so slight it more taste like sugar then mint. This 2lb giant peppermint really tastes like peppermint! I'm happy and it will be my go-to for a peppermint fix. The $20 price tag for is a bit steep, but it's well worth it.

To whom you may concern this is my second time buying Atkinson's mint the first purchase was excellent peppermint and I am a peppermint person love peppermint so much and I know when it's good and so I ordered a second time thinking I was going to get the awesome peppermint that I had the first time and this time it was not worth it and study the white men on the inside it is mixed up with the red candy on the inside of the peppermint so it make it taste different and that's the reason why I would like to return it's just not good peppermint to me but the first one you did good but this time you send me something that you all didn't make it right

I like the candy cane. It has a good peppermint flavor. However I don't like the way it is suddenly almost twice as expensive to buy. Will look for another option and won't be a frequent customer anymore. One less star, for cost.

This brings back childhood memorys from the 60's! Every household had them to offer during the Christmas holidays! I can't wait to share !
