DOD SR835 2-Way or 3-Way Crossover

Overall this a good gear for your signal isolation,the sound quality is average and the knobs are slightly frail,other than that if you are looking for a two way stereo crossover unit for your audio setup,you will not be disappointed with this choice.

I have some studio monitors with 5 inch "woofer". I also had a powered sub for the home theater, a yamaha, but it was crap at movie levels (way too boomy). I re purposed it for my home studio monitoring system. Enter the DOD crossover. This unit had the correct specs to fit with my equipment. It has a mixed sub output and a crossover frequency that goes down enough to meet the sub (150 Hz). Now I don't have to drive the 5 inch cones as hard and the bottom end has way more flesh than it did before, just how I like it. All the connections are 1/4 TR, TRS for balanced. I'd prefer RCA on the unbalanced, but that's in the noise. Requires real estate of one AC plug. sounds great.

This was my third DOD crossover in 20 years. Works good like previous ones. It's a basic crossover that gets the job done.
