Manual Drinking Bottled Water Hand Pump Dispenser with Tube

I only use it a few times a year when camping, so the price was critical. If I needed it daily, I'd spend more for a better execution of the design. It pumps well when it gets a good seal by forcing air into the bottle which pushes water out the spout. When the bottle is full, 3 pumps to fill a glass. you have to give an extra pump to prime it as the level drops or the seal lets the pressure out. Use full strokes and pause briefly between them to get the most water per pump. The plastic ring you tighten to get it to grip the bottle is very flimsy and the threads strip with zero effort, meaning it cannot keep that seal by itself. If you can, set the target glass/pan/dish on something tall under the spout, use one hand to hold the collar ring down as you pump with the other hand. That keeps the bottle pressurized and the water comes in big gushes. I set it on the seat of a picnic table and pumped into containers on the table top with good results. When camping, having a large supply of water handy was a great improvement!

Does not fit the particular bottles we wanted it for even though it states in the description that it will fit them (AmericanMaid 3 gal). We have used three or four 1/2 inch wide rubber bands wrapped around the neck of the bottles to make the ring tighten to fit. Works great this way.

This was a great purchase. Cheap looking but it made my camping trip a little less miserable. It's packed away now so I don't know if you can twist it on the jug or not. We just set it on top of the jug and pumped with no spills or it coming off so I guess if there was a way to clamp on a jug it would be a tiny bit better but for the price and for how much you would use this thing for its worth it.

Not the best seal to the 5 gallon jug, but works great for minimum effort. Using it as a water source in my camp kitchen, and more on a long term camp site. Easy to clean, easy to use, and used many times everyday by us all.

Does its job well for the best price. Not particularly strong... The tightening ring for the bottle neck is pretty flimsy. Could wish for the spigot to be a little longer...it's quite close to the bottle. Love the little plug that

first pump was a complete disappointment , but contacting the seller got me a replacement, the second one actually works, although it doesn't fit exactly my bottle, but for the price, is functional...

Have used hand pumps before and have had no problem but these do not work as well. Have to pump many times to get a cup of water. Tried leaving bottle cap on and placing pump through hope in cap. That helped some but still many pumps to get water.

I have to pump this 40-50 times to fill my one quart water bottle. I don't know if it is just the pump I received or something with this brand. I've used another in the past that has a consistent flow. I will continue to look for one that works.
