INSMART Bluetooth Smart Fat Scales for Body Weight with APP

These INSMART scales are absolutely brilliant. They give clear, steady readings straight away, and are very consistent so I know they are accurate. Connecting to the app on my phone was simple and fast, and it tracks all my measurements clearly so I can keep an eye on my progress. The glass surface feels strong and good quality, the display is easy to read, and it looks nice sitting in my bathroom. Great price and arrived very quickly. I am so happy with them and fully recommend!

If you are on a weight loss journey, these scales are awesome! My wife and I are dieting using the NHS method of simply cutting 500 calories from our day's intake (2,000 Kcal for Ladies and 2500 for gents), and with a bit of aggressive calorie deficit I've shed over 4.5 Stones. But, our Salter analyser scales were becoming unreliable with bogus readings (one job to do and failed!). I did some homework and with 27,000 sales, these INSMART 260H Bluetooth scales seemed perfect. OK, so we are in our sixties and the thought of binding the scales to an app terrifies us but I threw caution to the wind and bought them. Same day from Amazon prime, free delivery and a 15% reduction voucher which made them just over twenty squid! (£20.04 to be precise). They are neat, well packaged and nicely designed and we chose black so that the readings show up (our white salter ones were hard to decipher). Easy set up that even we could understand. Pop in the three included batteries and stand with naked feet on the metal plates and up comes the reading, press the rear button to change settings to kgs, stones and pounds or metric tonnes if you visit Greggs the bakers regularly. Scan the barcode with Google scanner (on all smart phones) or download the Insmart app from the play store on your phone. Fill in the details to set up your account and then binding is simple. Switch on bluetooth capability on your phone... step on scales..... select binding section on the insmart app and press + button to find the scales. Once binding is OK's.... you are good to go. Now open the app and press the blue feet icon at the bottom. Stand on the scales and it reads on thopse and also on your app. Remain standing until it says all complete and your figures appear. Water, Visceral fat, Muscle mass, BMI and body fat are all shown plus lots more including your body age calculated via your results...... prepare to be shocked if you are overweight and 50 years old and your body age is 75! Click on any recorded figure and it tells you what that is and what is should be if you want to be healthy and represent your country in the next Olympic games. You can link the app to others like Google fit and fit bitch... or is it Fitbit? I also upload my blood pressure, pulse rate, water intake etc and all figures are stored, showing trends that you can check your progress on. No brainer this one, twenty squidderoonies, four colour to choose from, brilliantly simple yet superbly efficient.... Amazon Prime reliability and speed of delivery and Paypal option for security. Best £20 I ever spent apart from a bargain bucket of Reese's chocolate minis on a Tesco Clubcard deal a while back!

The scales themselves seem to be working very well, I am impressed with their accuracy for weight, the other information regarding fat levels and general body health that is given in the app is only a guideline and not necessarily completely accurate but I'm sure it's close enough to help people understand what changes that they might need to make to their lifestyles. However, the scales are let down by the INSMART health app that is needed to connect them to your mobile phone via Bluetooth. The first annoyance is that if you are old school like me and use stones and pounds as the measure of weight, the app has to be adjusted to work with this system of measure every time that you open the app, as it defaults to the decimalised stone system all of the time. Then there is the translation, it appears that the language translation was done by AI and not a proper translator as some of the content doesn't make total sense, and you have to work it out for yourself. Another feature that I was hoping to be used was the ability to connect to the Google fitness app so that I can track my routines and combine them with the info from the app, however, Google has blocked the app from accessing data from Google fitness because of security reasons. If you are an android user, I would suggest that before purchasing these scales, go and read the reviews of the app on Google play so that you can get a better idea if they are worth it. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the app.

Have tried other scales that claim to do this and that, but actually just show your weight. These scales are built very well, I would imagine if used correctly will last a long time. The first time I weighed myself it gave a reading in Kg, I am nearly 55 and was taught to use stones and pounds and inches and MPHA. Anyway, no problem as ther is a converter button just on the underside of the front which you can click to get the converted weight you want. Easy and seamless connection to the Insmart Health app, both available on Android and IOS. The only negative thing I can say is, because it actually records around 16 different aspects of your health using the metal conducive coils when you place both feet on the machine, you then click the weigh button on the app. You will see your weight displayed, but also you will see the machine scanning as it is measuring the other important information which you can then review on the app. I said it was a negative, what I really mean is, all the other data told me what I already knew.....plus stough I have never really heard of. It told me I am overweight, good in the water drinking section, but the rest is pretty dire stuff that I am striving to achieve. In conclusion, these scales do exactly what they say on Amazon and on the box. An amazing product, have recommended too 2 friends so far.

Love this scale! Exactly what I wanted to monitor all the different health stats. As much as I know they can’t be 100% accurate it is a great gauge and great to see improvements rather then just weight.. works well easy to use. Display is bright, size is good. I bought the black color.

Highly recommended. Seemingly very accurate - at least from a weight perspective. Very good associated app which provides a whole raft of information such as BMI, visceral fat etc. I can't vouch for its accuracy on all parameters but provides very useful informtiton and the ability to track your weight over time. You can also add multiple users so you don't mix up your tracking data. You simply tell it in the app who's on the scales and it records your weight and other information accordingly.
