What is the maximum working height please? And could it go higher even though you obviuosly wouldn't advise it?

Thanks for asking. I haven't had the top shelf on the top rail yet, I'm using using it as in the diagram /picture. If you use the top rail for the upper shelf your feet are 1 m 15 cms above the ground, then add your height plus arms outstretched! I haven't done that yet so no vouching for the safety of that height. I've found the thing very useful as I'm archiving and shelf working in tall rooms and I use it exactly as it is in the picture - always careful though. I hope that's some help. Dennis. London

What is the size of the package when it is delivered please.

For exact dimensions see the size as indicated in the specifications for an exact figure, obviously add a few inches in height. In width, if I remember correctly, it was approaching 9"- 1' A little bit heavy if you are unused to lifting things. Two people can manage it easily.

What material are the platforms made from

the black platforms are some very strong steel I imagine - certainly tough - as is the whole item - Fantastic bit of kit.

What is the maximum platform height. I'm fixing plaster moulding in an old house with high ceilings

You can put the black platform piece across the top bars[ie. where the little tool shelf is] and that would be 114cm. or 45 inches from the ground although you wouldn't have the railing to steady yourself if neccessary - though perhaps the manufacturer wouldn't endorse making the platform that high ? The top platform in the photo is 33 inches high or 84cm. My ceiling is 9 foot 3 inches high or 282cm. and I can reach ok from the top platform in the photo. Apart from that it's a great bit of kit - hope that helps ?
