Larger than I had anticipated
I got this for my 8 year old to use instead of his beanbag when playing games or watching TV. He was getting tired of the lack of support behind him when he used the beanbag, so I thought this would be a good alternative.Box came, and was much larger than I had figured based on the warnings about how this isn't very big. Unpacking is easy, and there's no assembly required, just unfold the back from the closed position and when it's all the way open, use the velcro to help keep it from folding up on itself. I'm 6'2" and over 200 lbs and I can sit in it fine. But, as others have noted, for adults, there's not much padding - I can see this getting uncomfortable quickly. But for my 8 year old, the purpose for which it was purchased, it works just great, and is fine for the padding. So for younger people, definitely a good product. I didn't need anything with speakers in it, so why pay extra for something we didn't plan on using?

Love it, Hate the price
I love the chair! I purchased it as a Christmas present for my boyfriend who fully enjoys it as well, even our toddler son loves rocking in it.While I love the chair, my boyfriend did mention he wished there was more head support & we both agree a little more cushion wouldn't hurt. While neither of us care for extra features such as built-in wireless audio & such like other gaming chairs, I do feel it is overpriced since it lacks all of that & I paid $84 for it on "sale" (plus an extra $24 for shipping directly from Amazon). For those, I give it 4 out of 5 stars. The armrests aren't really necessary for either of us due to our gaming styles so no complaint there. Even though our son isn't even yet 2, he loves sitting in it & climbing all over it so thankfully it doesn't tip over easily. Plus, it folds with no problem making it convenient to tuck it away.

horrible, horrible, horrible
I purchased this chair for my girlfriend as a gift so she could have a comfortable seat while having her mass effect gaming marathon (the ending sucked if you didn't know).I read other reviews and thought that it would be perfect. It really wasn't.The chair was HUGE, the box could fit me inside with the lid closed (i'm around 5'9 140lbs) Th material that the chair was made out of reminded me of a computer chair but cheaper. The padding on the chair at first felt ok, but sitting on it for longer then a few minutes you really notice that there isn't much resistance to it, you just sink to the hard base of the chair. It had arm rests but for the most part, they were useless. There was a nice feature of the chair in that it could fold up to store it , BUT, when you fold it up, it just becomes this huge lump that is pretty hard to hide, except for maybe in a closet. My girlfriend used the chair for 4 days, each day she complained about how it wasn't giving her enough resistance. She also complained about a pain she was having on her tailbone that progressed worse and worse each day. On the forth day I just said screw it and sent the chair back to amazon. Now you may be thinking that my girlfriend is a fatty or something, for someone who plays all the time she must not do anything else and that that is the reason that she may be having the pain. Nope, she is the image of perfection; she works out everyday, either running, doing cardio, or something called the butt bible (I know, I'm the luckiest guy alive right). The pain came directly from the use of this chair. If you purchase it, please discontinue use if you feel the same pain, it lasted for over a month after she stopped using the chair and it was hard for her to sit up straight for a while.

Good Quality Does Not Flip Over
YIPPY! I finally found a good quality gaming chair that has arm rests and DOESN'T flip backward! This is a FANTASTIC buy and would be great for any gamer, especially tweens, teens and college students. My 10 year old boy loves this thing and likes that it rocks. It has a good wide seat, enough that I can fit my size 14 butt it (barely but I'm not stuck in it) and it holds my 200 pound weight. The back is good height for the kids and it hits me at the upper neck (i'm 5'8"). I like that it folds over and has a velcro tab to keep it open/erect. It is a tad bulky and I was surprised how heavy it is, but it does store/hide well sufficient for dorm rooms and small apartments. The best part is that there's no assembly - take it out of the box, unfold it, and it's ready. It could be a bit more cushy, but i like things really soft and fluffy. The fabric seems good and I like that it's black, and you can upgrade this by getting built in speakers. Extremely happy, enough that I bought two of them. *smiles*

Dent in side of product
Upon arrival of product it was packaged/shipped in same box. I don't know if the HUGE hole in the side of the box (yes, this WAS a gift) caused the dent in the hard outside of the arm or if it was stacked that way & dent happened. Whichever it was, when I complained - of course, nobody did anything!! To send product back to sender I would somehow have to get it to a post office. I am disabled & cannot drive, so the driving to drop off was out of the question & there are no other options. I would love to have been able to leave product out in the open - one of the reason I bought this one was the look. I do not like to show/offer the use of "crap" to visitors, so this is now only used when my husband is home. I would NOT buy another one, which really disappointed me as I have a plethora of game systems I could have used this as seating for & will not risk buying another one for guests to use....
