Question 1

Is it a sustained burst of energy with a big crash, or do you gradually become more alert and come down slow?

Accepted Answer

Like all stimulants, it depends a lot on your tolerance. If you drink a lot of coffee or other energy drinks, it will be more mild, gradual, and no crash. If you don't drink much caffeine, it will feel like you got kicked by a horse in the face. Like all stimulants, it's also highly dependent on your size. I've built a tolerance and I'm a big guy, so it makes me more alert and then slowly wears off. I'm up to two bottles a day. It actually works pretty quickly, especially on an empty stomach, but I don't notice when it wears off because it's very gradual. Maybe start with a quarter bottle (0.5 oz) or less to start and see how you feel.

Question 2

What is its validity as there is only manufacturing date on the box?

Accepted Answer

Hey - don't know what you mean by "validity" here, but I started using this brand a yr ago and not just because of cost. got to where 5 hr energy burned the hell out of my stomach plus I got sick of its rancid taste. This cherry flavor is much better ..........here is what CaffineInformer says says about it: Caffeine in X-Mode Energy Shotwww.caffeineinformer.com/caffeine-content/x-mode-shotX-Mode Energy Shot is a bulk energy shot that contains 100 servings per box. ... X-Mode would contain 15,000 mg of caffeine per box and is not recommended for those sensitive to caffeine. ... X-Mode Energy Shot contains 150.00 mgs of caffeine per fluid ounce (507.21mg/100 ml).Since 5 hr has 215 mg (standard shot) so I do 1 1/2 shots of xmode in my first shot ea morning and just one shot after lunch since I don't need so much then. Get this: my doctor acuatally recommends energy shots for peeps w chronic headaches 'cause it constricts inflamed blood vessels in brain and caffine is in many migraine meds. 1 1/2 shots of xmode in am reduces my daily nerve caused headaches FOR sure and does give me a boost at 10X cheaper than 5 hr. good luck!
