My son has Autism and he is VERY orally fixated. These bities have worked very well to redirect his chewing away from things that he shouldn't be putting in his mouth. This is NOT chocolate flavored, it just smells like chocolate FYI. We also have a blue one and it's held up for almost two years with no wear.

I see a few people here saying it’s not actually flavored and it definitely smells stronger than it tastes but it definitely tastes like chocolate im autistic and have a lot of need for chewing and I’ve been wanting something flavored like this so this is great

I ordered these for my kids and one for myself because I'm a chewer too. When I first got them, I could smell the chocolate smell eminating from them and it made my mouth water. The kids were even excited to get it. We opened them up and started knawing on them right away and we were all a bit disappointed. Although it smells like chocolate so much you'll really want to chew on it, it does not have a chocolate taste. The taste is so faint it's more like chewing on plastic while smelling a bar of chocolate. I keep mine in my purse for stressed out times, and the kids took theirs to school for when they're caught chewing on their shirts or pencils, but the teacher informs me that they are not even using them. I would start with a plain one with no flavor and if your child loves it, then move on to these ones. Because you expect to taste something good, and you get sadly dissappointed. The good thing is that they are very strong so it will take a child awhile before completely chewing through them.

I order this for my son. He is to old for the baby chew toys but I felt like he still needed something. He absolutely loves it. It smells like chocolate but doesn't have a taste to it. We ordered it a while ago and it is great. I would definitely recommend it to other parents. It is a very well made product.

I purchased the chocolate flavored chewy tube as well as the grape flavored version for my twins. We had an upcoming band concert to attend for my older children, and with teething twins I was hoping to find a way to occupy them to keep them quiet during the concert. The grape version is pleasant, enjoyable. No issues. However the chocolate version is the worst thing I’ve ever purchased on Amazon. It smells like a mixture of tootsie rolls and rotten, moldy pond water. When the package arrived in the mail, I could smell it through the external and internal packaging. Was hoping my brain was misinterpreting the scent, however upon handing the chocolate tube to the twins they made fowl faces and repeatedly cast it to the ground. It was so foul smelling, I kept getting off handed looks from the surrounding audience. My husband even proclaimed that he thought the baby had pooped her diaper, only it wasn’t poop, it was this fowl smelling object. We got comments from all our family members in attendance, everyone was borderline gagging from how rank this thing smells. I was so embarrassed and frantically dug in our diaper bad for a ziploc bag to attempt to seal the smell away. Even inside the bag, the odor was permeating. It was so rank that upon arriving home, my husband sat it in a separate room. Today a contractor came to our home, and when he entered the room with the chocolate tube he became deeply concerned that we may have an undiagnosed mold issue in our home. I explained it was a child’s chew toy, and he was both bewildered and horrified as we are too. This thing reaks. I’m genuinely worried it’s somehow got mold inside of it.

Chocolate scented chewy. My son likes it better than the non scented ones. I have a 3 year old with ASD and he is a chewer. He bites his nails, chews on his clothes any chance he gets. He is also obsessed with his paci. We got these to try to eliminate some of the nail biting and clothes chewing at home, school and ABA. It has worked to cut down some of the chewing behaviors in a more appropriate manner.

I sent this item back as it was scented but not flavored. And it stunk. I had to double zip lock bag it bc I couldn’t stand the smell in my house until I returned it.

We bought this for our then 3 year old as she had begun to chew other non food items, such as furniture, money, toys, stones, etc, and whilst looking at the available chewing devices, we found a huge choice and had no idea which would be suitable. We showed our daughter some of the options and she immediately chose this one, which she has now had for two months and used every day. The flavour is still intact and it's definitely durable, showing no signs of use at all. The large size meani it would be suitable for all ages. The only problem with it is that the baby likes it too.

Best chew stick even though its costly

For my 4yo with high sensory needs. She has other chewy things but this is our first that has multi choices on the same stick. She loves it. Love love loves it. For the mouth, for fingers, smells like chocolate. Well worth the price
