Hasbro Gaming Elefun and Friends Barrel of Monkeys Game - Colors May Vary

Barrel of Monkeys is great and easy first game. Quality and durable to last.

I was misled by the picture that showed three of these, so I thought I was getting three. That was my fault. This is a great toy and something I loved as a kid. I do think it is more fun if you have two of these instead of just one. More kids can play or it just makes it more fun overall. These are well made just like the ones we played with when we were kids. I have a toy box for kids that come to visit and it is a perfect toy to entertain them, and many times the newer generation has never seen them or played with them before. It is fun to watch them with a new toy they have never seen.

This is at least a 50 year old game, but still fun for adults and kids. My grandkids love it and it's one of those that doesn't take up much space so that makes it great for travel on vacations when kids need something other than TV or video games in the hotel room. Even our 2 yr old loves it because he can always at least pick up one, and it's a great exercise in dexterity. My father who had dementia also loved it because it didn't take much processing and he could play with the great-grandkids. While he couldn't focus on any game that had rules, this was just about participation and laughs.

This product is for my autistic son to aid in the wearing of masks! There is no way with the sensory issues he will tolerate keeping a mask on if there is any discomfort involved. Also will allow him to put on and remove himself without assistance. Saw where these fun little monkeys are being used to attach the ear bands behind the head instead of the ears. Sure do hope they make a difference! Know it will bring a smiles when seen at the back of the head! Thank you. PS: Had fun playing this game when he was young! Great to find another use!

Ok so the game is you use a monkey to pick up another and another until you drop one, when one is dropped its next players turn, whoever makes the largest chain wins! My children love it and I have a sneaking suspicion my Wife does as well. This game is great for young children to build fine motor skills and they will have a blast doing it. I read a previous review after I received this item saying they didn't receive the item pictured so I wanted to add that I did in fact receive the exact item pictured manufactured in the USA by Hasbro. The game seems to be of good quality some form of fairly thick abs plastic and I can't imagine any reason this game will not last for many years to come. You will receive the Barrel as implied and 10 crazy monkeys just waiting to be rescued.

Some folks said they received 10 some said 14. A few said they got 7. Well, I got 12! 12 Monkeys and during COVID-19 pandemic no less! OMG I LOVE THIS! I laughed so hard so that I had to share that. I wouldn't have to be able to play with them - the irony is worth the price. I'm using them to tighten my face-mask by hooking my elastic on the monkey's hands rather than my ears. So some day when we're past this I can actually play with them. But until then, LOL

They came in orange and blue so connecting the different colors was fun for them. It teaches skills I didn’t think were possible with a simple toy I played with as a kid. Kids learn how to be slow and steady with placing the monkeys on each other’s hands, to be delicate or they will all fall. The little simple joys in life go a long way. The little ones love playing with them, it was worth buying!

The picture shows a bundle of barrels but you only get one barrel with 10 monkeys.

Thanks to Eggers I discovered this smart game . He talked about it in the foreword of the 20eth anniversary of Infinite Jest :)

much smaller than expected and personally i dont think it was very good value for money

Muy bien. La única pega es que no tienes la opción de elegir el color. Me llegó el naranja

Jouet de mon enfance très apprécie de mon frère et mes sœurs, de plus il y a d’autres couleurs que le rouge.
