Moyu 3x3 Smooth New 3 x 3 x 3 YJ Sulong Black Speed Cube Puzzle

I bought these after flipping the entire Amazon website upside down. I got interested in cubing a while back but didn't want to spend 10 bucks for something that I knew I was going to get over with after 2 weeks. So after a long time of searching, I found this inexpensive cube. When I first received the package, I took it apart to get a better look at the insides and mechanism. To my disappointment, one piece was chipped. But to my surprise, it didn't seem to make a difference. The solving experience still felt smooth. However, another part of a piece also chipped later on. But again, the solving was great. I'd recommend this product to any beginner who'd like to start out at cubing with an inexpensive cube. I just wished the build quality was better. I'm an average cuber, and I was getting sick and tired of the rigidness and slow turning of the normal rubiks brand cubes. I was looking for something better, but not too expensive, since I'm not a hardcore cuber. I saw this specific rubiks cube recommended to me on a website advertisement, and I thought to myself, "3 bucks? I gotta give this a try" I couldn't have made a better decision in making this purchase.I ordered this cube back in November of 2015, and the estimated time that I would have it was to be in January. Much to my surprise, I got it only 2 weeks after ordering! I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family. Not only was the shipping much faster than expected, but the cube itself works perfectly. It has great turning speeds, amazing corner cutting, and you won't need to use lube until after 50 or so solves for the average cuber. For a cube of this quality, you can't beat the price! I am very happy with this purchase, and to anyone thinking about buying one of these or is on the edge about buying it, go for it!

As an avid cube puzzle lover who has owned many cubes in his 10+ years of cubing, I have to say that this 3x3x3 is amazing. This cube turns very quickly, smoothly, allows easy corner cutting, and overall feels really comfortable in your hands. It has the same color scheme as the original Rubik's brand 3x3x3 (although the Moyu orange is a slightly different shade) so it is a very easy transition from a Rubik's brand cube. I don't feel like I have to worry about pieces popping out with the Moyu cubes, even when turning the sides very quickly, something that often happens with the Rubik's brand cube. I highly recommend this cube to anyone looking to get a 3x3x3.

Pretty good cube. My first speed cube. I like the color scheme. It's a little sticky. I need to get some lubricant and see if that loosens it up.It can't corner-cut even a full cube width as it comes configured out of the box. I think maybe it's tensioned too tightly and isn't lubricated at all. I'm going to loosen it up and lube it and see what happens. I might revise my score if it can corner cut a 45 degree angle after that.That said it's a massive improvement over the Rubik's brand cube I was solving on before. It's quieter, smoother and less frustrating to solve on because it doesn't lock up when turning. Good cube to learn on I think, and the price was great.

I got this and the D-FantiX - after a day or two I lost track of which is which. Both are far, far better and a couple bucks cheaper than an original Rubik's Cube. A little springy and much more responsive than what I was accustomed to, but that's a good thing. Tension is supposed to be adjustable, but I haven't tried.(My original wore out and fell apart right as I was getting pretty good at it. I'm not a super fast solver- 2 minutes at best, usually around 3, so I don't know what a real hardcore speedster would say. As far as I'm concerned, totally cool.

4th graders these days are a bit obsessive about their puzzle cubes. I was begged to please replace generic cube with one that could more easily turn.This MoYu cube moves smoothly and turns easily. There is no catching while manipulating. It is also smaller than your 'average brand named' cube, so it works well for smaller hands.The price was right for a 2 pack so we donated one to his classroom.

Great value. Very smooth to operate. Does not lock up. Pieces do not pop out. Perfect for a beginner or for someone learning speed-cubing. I did a fair amount of research on speed-cubes before buying this. It has lived up to my expectations. After working with this cube for a few months, I happened to come across a Rubik's Cube in a store. I played with the Rubik's Cube and found it to be much slower than the Dayan Cube.

This was my first speed cube and it works amazingly. It is very smooth and each turn is so much better to move with ease as oppose to the regular store bought Cubes. The stickers are always very well put on, I've solved and unsolved this cube at least 100 times by now and not a single sticker is showing any wear. The only thing that I don't like about it is the if a piece falls out, it is insanely hard to put back in. Luckily that's only happened to me once so far though so it is not a common problem. I recommend this to people who are looking for a speed cube to use for the first time.

For those not versed in the sport of speed solving, there really are significant differences between the different makes and models. Your bog-standard Rubik's Cube, for instance, is not suitable for solving at speed, whereas the Dayan ZhanChi is amongst the best. Manufacturers are constantly improving the speed and stability of their cubes. This one is one of my favourites.What makes it great for speed solving? Well, it ticks the important boxes:[√] Turning is VERY smooth, although it can be improved with a little lubrication.[√] Accompanying that smooth turning is a quite mechanism. There is, of course, a little grating, but not nearly as much as many other cubes.[√] Out of the box, corner cutting is extremely good, and with a drop of lubricant it's even better.[√] So far, I've not managed to make the cube pop. It is remarkably stable.So, yes, this is definitely a five star cube. Great value for money.

They sent the wrong cube. It isn't even a speed cube and frankly I am very disappointed. Turning is horrible, the cube cannot corner cut, and it doesn't even have a logo on the white side. Do not buy this product.Update: I contacted the seller and they said they would send the actual cube (they didn't).
