Cisco CP-7945G CP-7945G 7900 Series VoIP Phone

The IP phone arrived on-time, and in excellent condition for used. I think the price was very reasonable as well. I was concerned at first that the phone did not work when I hooked it up to my Cisco POE switch, yet however that was because I did not check the POE standard supported on the phone. My switch only supports Inline power. I used a different POE injector that supports IEEE 802.3af, and the phone powered fight up. I am using it in my lab and it works great. Always remember to research before buying, so as to make sure that the product will work for your environment.

Received quickly and as described.

These were not new phones from Discover Savings. The original Cisco boxes were all re-=taped with brown gum tape. Don't sell as new Cisco if they are re-taped.

Did not come with power cord.

We usually purchase these from our networking vendor, but I tried this as well only needed a couple. Product was less expensive and shipped really quickly. Will certainly purchase from Amazon again. As for the product; it's a Cisco phone. They're reliable, sturdy, fairly easy to use (hard to judge as we've been using them in one version or another since 2006). They do exactly what we want them to do and very rarely give us problems.

Phones work great with Cisco UCS version 9.x.

Too bad they aren't made to last. These are getting harder to find for an aging system.
