KiNSMART - 1967 Volkswagen Classic Beetle 5 Inch 1:32 Scale Die Cast Metal Model Toy (Police)

These were bought for both my boys and they were so excited. They love playing with them.

Became an instant fan of the Dresden Files and shopped around for an actual licensed version of the Blue Beetle. Short of buying someone else's version from one of those maker auction site(s), I decided to make my own knockoff of the infamous car. For the price Amazon was selling these Beetles, I decide to buy two of them , in case I messed up the first one. For anyone interested in making their own, car was really easy to take apart and put back together. I did have to use an xacto knife of cut some of the plastic bits from the frame, mainly the lights, but they went on back pretty easily with a dab of Elmer's glue. Word of caution, the lights are tiny pieces, and the fo-chrome bits are not attached to the lights bits themselves. I dropped the storage container that contained all the loose bit and lost one of the rear chrome light covers in the plush carpet in my office. It's that small, that it simply disappeared. Car modification aside, this Volkswagen toy car is built pretty solid. I was surprised with the amount of metal part on this car when I got it. I was expecting a lot more plastic in the car for the price I paid for it. Would not have any issues recommending this car to other who want to make their own version of Dresden's Blue Beetle. Not too sure if I'll be making the Munster Hearse just yet.

This is cool to have, if you like to collect police vehicles. The only thing that I didn't like about it, that it doesn't say what police department it is from. But, it is alright to have, when you put the batteries in it, and pull it back, it moves forward, the headlights, and red light comes on !!!

That car is magic. It made my old piece of furniture cat to go crazy. She been chasing it, attacking it, talking to it.

My 3 year old grandson is really into "cop" cars... this one is larger than a "matchbox" but, small enough for 3 year old hands. The doors open...and it's rolls nicely. Metal material... sturdy. I think it's cute... he likes that it is a "cop car"... I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

My grandson loves this little car especially since his mom is a police officer.

Waste of money, very small car and very soft. Very costly for kids play. If you go buy for collection its ok. but for kids is a big frustration. Also come open like it was used before.
