The plots to this series and its prequel are exciting stories. The sentiments of all the main characters are positive and educational. May the world of Talonia actually come to pass some day on Earth.I read both series some time ago and just finished rereading all of the books in order. It became confusing to me toward the end because every one of the romances depicted followed the same format. I had a hard time remembering who was who. All those couples and names were becoming a blur. There was the "good" human woman, the "misguided" weredragon male. Much sexual tension. Reconciliation due to the dragon's change of heart. Sexual encounter, followed by pregnancy and mating, all in fairly short order. How many times can Beauty and the Beast be repeated in these types of romance? And how many young women attach themselves to Bad Boy losers who cannot be saved by love?Sometimes love affairs turn sour, or one of the couple dies or becomes disabled, every one does not successfully conceive children. Problems are not always solvable. Plugging something about real life into these stories would not harm them, would it?This author has gone a long way toward depicting more realistic portrayals, but in my opinion not far enough.

But now the new ruler, King Attoriann, had his own ideas, wanting Talonia to become dominant over Earth and colonize the planet as they did others. Human life meant nothing to him. Brensom disagreed with the King, but for now, he had to remain silent to avoid being locked up and thereby useless in any kind of uprising.When Brensom finished replenishing his spirit in the magic waters, he saw Hope and the two weredragons talked about the dangerous situation with King Attoriann. Brensom worried about Heidy who was human despite Tae's and her father's weredragon blood within her. All Attoriann would see was that she was human and would have no compassion for her whatsoever. Hope had felt strongly that Heidy had the rare ability to pick up actual feelings emanating from the planet. Heidy was probably unaware of the gifted ability herself yet, but soon it would become obvious. Brensom needed to warn her to leave Talonia. It was no longer safe for her here. He had wished he had time to let her know his hopes of having her as his life mate. But so much danger surrounded them now and he didn’t know how much longer he would live either under his risky warrior life. But before he could go to Heidy, he was told by Keshel that Attoriann had called an emergency meeting right then, despite his father’s funeral ceremony for which everyone was already gathering.Heidy went to see her grandfather Tae before the ceremony. She was troubled by the way others treated humans on Talonia now and wanted his opinion. Heidy had been born on Talonia. Her father, grandfather, and great-grandparents were all Talonian weredragons. She had a right to stay there – but was it a safe choice? Tae seemed to think she belonged there, and he felt the planet reaching out to her, just as Hope had. He felt she was needed here. Her destiny demanded it.Brensom was feeling angrier as the emergency meeting progressed. King Attoriann wanted them to take over and colonize more planets. He wanted power! Even if a war didn’t erupt or a dissenter could manage to stay out of prison, there were still some who would plot to harm humans for no reason or just to impress the King. He preferred that she leave Talonia. But he liked her idea of creating a network of humans and weredragons who could be ready in case a revolution did become necessary to oppose the king’s plans. War now seemed imminent. Sides would be drawn and there would be danger for everyone. How would this war be decided? Would Earth be destroyed? Would Talonia?I had been hoping for and expecting more dragon action, but it was helpful to meet the main characters and learn where their loyalties were. Change is coming, and it will be exciting to find out which side will be victorious. Having all the related stories in one box set offers the luxury of binge-reading to your heart’s content! Enjoy!

Could not finish. This felt like a rough edit of a story.The dialog and plot drag along. It would be helpful if the author broke up the paragraphs a bit. The romance was almost robotic, there is very little to make the reader believe the characters feel much of anything towards one another, and that includes the stilted sex scenes.

Loved all these stories! And a great addition to the first set of stories in the series. All stories have plenty of action, romance, mystery, suspense and surprising twists. This collection contains five separate stories (Elex, Brensom, Damaris, Rani, and Attoriann) that feature a different weredragon and their mate.Final Rating: 5 Stars

I enjoyed reading this series very much. It was very well thought out oh, and I enjoy the way that all of the characters work through all of the books together. You learn their world and you learn to love them more that way. Thank you very much

Talonian Warriors ll five book box set of the series Talonian Warriors by author Celeste Raye. As all of Celeste’s books these are brilliant!! Each tale is filled with action, suspense- with twists and turns. Love- heroes and villains!! Definitely one for you library!!Enjoy!!I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I really enjoyed this series and am glad there is a second set to the series. Wonderful writer.

Wow. Once again I have found a good book in this story. I found it hard to put it down until the end.

In this box set we re-visit the Talonian Warriors in the future. The warriors from the first series have left their legacy and we now meet their ancestors. All five stories take us to new adventures with the Talonian Warriors and their mates. Each story is different, with adventures, love and romance in them all. They all tie together towards the final book where the Talonians enter into war against Earth but as with all of Celeste's books despite the trials, tribulations, regrets and some sad moments there is an HEA for our heroes and heroines. Brilliant!! If you're inclined, reading the first box set gives you a good insight into the Talonian way of life and how the connections to Earth evolved, but it is not necessary to read this to enjoy box set II.I received an ARC of this box set for which I leave an honest review and have happily bought the books for my collection.

Wow! What an action packed box set. I loved the well-developed characters in each book. The Talonian warriors are strong, vibrant dragons, who all seem to fall in love with equally strong human women. Will they ALL succeed in finding their soul mates though? You will have to read the books to find out. Each story needs to be read in order, as it has elements which are referred to in the following books and some events overlap in the background. There are lots of twists and turns in each story, which keeps you reading till the end. I highly recommend this set.
