Best epilator I’ve owned
As someone who’s owned several epilators over the years, this is the best one I’ve come across! I love it! I’ve had 2 emjois, 1 Philips and the Braun silk epil 9…this one failed right after the warranty period. The performance disappointed me so I decided to get the Panasonic. So happy I did! It’s a sleek, much more ergonomic design than the others. But with that comes a shorter battery life. 1 full hour of charge gives you 30 min of use. The other prior models I’ve owned give you longer use but they are so much bulkier and heavier at the base. But battery life hasn’t been an issue for me because it’s incredibly efficient. I love the TWO wider tweezer rollers! Makes it super fast and believe it or not, much less painful. It’s got three speeds and is super powerful. Someone who is epilating for the very first time or has a lot of hair, may need to recharge until getting the job done, so keep that in mind. This is not something that will be done in 15 minutes so set aside some time to work on it, recharge, and come back to it. You’ll probably enjoy the break. So far, I’ve gotten several weeks of not having to retouch and love that you don’t get that stubble from shaving.Warning: if you’re the type to not read the instructions, do not use the exfoliator brush on your face! Thought it was one of those facial cleansing heads. NOOO!!!! It was to harsh for my face. Other than that, it’s pretty safe and self explanatory.Try it! You’ll like it!

Used ***Update****
I received a used product. Kinda gross to pull a new epilator out of the box and see hair falling out of it. Make sure to check. At least the return was easy. Will update if a NEW replacement is sent.**UPDATE**I received a replacement that was, in fact, new. I see now that parts were also missing from the original box, as this one had pieces that were not included in the original box. I inspected it carefully to ensure there was no signs of use on this one, and luckily there wasn't.I have to say, after using the epilator, it is an amazing product. I found it to be quiet, unlike some of the other reviewers. It also tweezers very efficiently. I was able to get through armpits and both legs in the time it would have taken me to do one leg on my old Phillips epilator. Because it is more efficient, it seemed to also be less painful. I barely felt it, and usually after not epilating for a couple weeks it would be painful, but not with this one.It has a really wide head, so you can cover more area quickly. The amount of tweezers in this one is double what I had in my last. I'm not sure if that's why it's so efficient, or if it's just better quality. It's pretty powerful, which is great, but you have to take extra care. I got my skin sucked up into it a couple times, but that was mostly due to moving fast and a bit carelessly, not so much the product itself. It has a light which is a nice feature to have, plus the pivoting head makes it really comfortable to hold and easy to move along.I'm really impressed with the product. If I wasn't given a used product initially, it would be a 5 star review.

Charge when necessary, keep it clean, and stretch loose skin! It's THAT simple!
This tool is a dream!!! I can't recall the last time I've shaved! Before I purchased this OVER 3 YEARS AGO, I saw many reviews complaining about battery life, durability, and skin getting sucked in. Ladies...do you know how batteries and mechanics work?A) If you constantly charge this, the LI-ION battery will deplete quickly, because that's simply due to how rechargeable batteries function (Google it and apply that new-found knowledge to ALL of your LI-ION devices). Charge it only when needed. I only charge mine a few hours prior to when I plan on using it. I have had NO issues with the charge - even 3 fricken years later.B) You HAVE to clean out stuck (usually thick) hair from the epilator tweezers. This is how it works for all epilators like this. I take a bowl and a spare pair of tweezers and clean them out while watching or listening to something. It's not a big deal. Stop complaining - you're just lazy.C) Oh? You have loose skin?! Most of us do in different areas! Major 101 lesson! - no matter the area and no matter the technique (e.g. WAXING) - hold loose skin taut. That's how you get the best effect for hair removal (your waxer should be doing this) and ensure the ROTATING part of the device doesn't suck your skin into it. That's just...simple knowledge. I can epilate my entire lady parts and have no issues, because I hold the loose, tender areas taut.D) Ingrown hairs? I battle those myself (even when I have shaved in the past). You simply have to be habitual in exfoliation and tweeze the ones that cause issues (that issue is simply genetics, which I have to deal with myself).Overall, I love this thing. I have found it well worth the money I paid 3 years later, simply because I know how to take care of it and use it effectively. =)

Louder than it should be
It is very loud! and it doesn't seem to work as well as the Braun Silk Epil Epi I owned previously, but that one fell and broke, so I had to replace it. The reviews sold me on this one, but I wish I had just bought the next generation Braun.

This was a gift.
When I received this product, it wasn't exactly what I expected. So many instructions. I decided to give it as agift to my daughter. I have not heard from her yet how she likes it.My daughter just let me know that this one is much better than the one she's had since college. Very happy with it.

It was sold out, but they ordered it back.
It was sold out, but they ordered it back. Time was 4 or 5 days behind schedule, but it arrived here reliably. it is an update from a 5+ year old version, but the shaver is wider and easier to use. For me, I enjoy the massage provided by the sonic scrub brush. As with any shaver, you should avoid using it on the same area for a long time to avoid skin problems. I move it slowly and constantly. After use, gently wash it with water and dry it to prolong its life.

Does Not Work
Looks nice, Easy to Hold and that is were it ends, it doesn't pluck hairs and with double as many tweezers as the competitors I expected much much more. Very disapointed.

Good quality epilator, questionable price, annoying process to clean.
Note: I'm a dude, so take note of my experience while using this epilator. I would say though, that there isn't anything unique about this epilator (or all epilators for that matter) that a guy can't use.Pros:Pretty initiative to use. The instruction booklet has easy to follow instructions, and the design of the various attachments, means that I could quickly understand how I am supposed to use it.Netural:I found the shaver a little too weak for my coarse body hair, but perhaps it will work better for women.Cons:The various attachments can be hard to clean. The little brush they gave you is completely useless in getting out hair stuck in tiny corners. The epilator, especially, is the hardest to clean properly. as there are many moving parts.Tip for others:Epilating can be painful, but I did find it useful as a way to tell when I am done with an area. My technique it to slowly run it over an area several times until I don't feel pain, move to another area, then come back for a final sweep. If there is no pain, it means I got every hair.Verdict:I gave this product 4 stars because. other than the cleaning process, it did work as intended. However, if you were to ask me if I would recommend an epilator or similar products, like wax, then I would suggest that maybe you should go for permanent hair removal instead. This experience with an epilator taught me that lesson, that if it seems like way to much effort just to feel good for 2 weeks, then maybe instead save the money and effort, buy IPL, SHR or electrolysis treatment for permanent hair removal for the rest of your life. This is what I am going to do anyway.
