Spice Hunter The Fish Seasoning Blend Jar, 1.1 Ounce

This is the 3rd salt free Spice Hunter brand seasoning blend I have purchased. I used the Fish seasoning last night to fix a couple of really nice Tuna steaks. All I can say about The Spice Hunter salt free Fish seasoning is "it's wonderful". It is very nice, it doesn't over power the food like some of the other fish seasonings I have tried. To me there is nothing worse than having the fish turn out tasting like someone put way too much pepper and lemon juice on it and you taste mostly seasoning and not the food. The Spice Hunter Fish salt free seasoning is just right. It's very mild and compliments the fish very well and has a very subtle taste of lemon. I looked at a few different ways to cook the Tuna steaks and wound up just rubbing the fish with olive oil and rubbing The Spice Hunter salt free Fish seasoning then searing in a pan coated with more olive oil. It was quick, very easy, and without a doubt it was the best tasting Tuna steak I have had in a while. I highly recommend this seasoning to all you seafood lovers out there for it's flavor and the heart healthy option of having no salt added to the food. This will definitely be a staple in our household.

This is my favorite seasoning to use on fish, especially salmon but I'm using it on anything that could a little lemon twist. Not too salty and a little goes a long way, could not recommend more!

..a little heavy on the celery seed for my palate. The flavors settle into the fish nicely during cooking.

The label notes using this in variety of ways but most are cooking applications. I've been using it as direct seasoning when I make tuna salad or a tuna sandwich. It's been exactly what I've been looking for with those recipes and made them so much better. I've been loving this blend.

Since I can't find this fish seasoning where I live I have to order it. This is one of those that goes great on Salmon and could probably be good on other proteins.

I am not a fish person but decided to try to eat more for a healthier diet. Usually I cook it cajun style with a hot spicy seasoning. thought I would try this. Didn't make me want to cook with it again. Taste is an individual matter so others may find it good. I didn't.

I was looking for the old grill shakers fish formula. This one is equally tasty. Lost some of it's more citrus notes in favor of a mild fennel seed addition, but still very good!

If you are going to have fish I highly recommend this seasoning on rice or salad.
