Much Better for your Bird's Feet than a Dowel
It is sturdy and supports my cockatoo. It is better for her feet than a wooden dowel perch. It lasts quite a while, but no rope perch can stand up forever against a cockatoo who likes to chew.

Best one
My bird LOVES these ropes. And this one is especially thick and long, so my bird Absolutely loves it. It's the only perch he uses. Unfortunately this one came broken apart from glue and have to return. But product is great otherwise!

Very nice. Our Amazon loves it...
The only downside is that I found it at our neighborhood PetSmart for $4 CHEAPER....so I'm super bummed about that.

Used these before
I have had many of these over the years for my parrots, but apparently not for my African Grey! She will NOT touch it! She has always had a sisal perch and for some reason she won't touch this one. Its actually comical. So I will just give it to another one of my birds. THEY love them! LOL!

Unsatisfactory
I purchased this perch as a back up to the one my african grey was using at the time. It wore out so I got the new perch out and ready to install and the end assembly (that hooks the other end to the cage) came off. Now, because I was trying to be proactive with my order, I am not able to get a refund.

Missing hardware
Missing 2 circle hardware pieces and the nut that holds the pieces together. Unlucky I have an old rope with similar hardware piece I’ll have to use. Otherwise, the rope is colorful and sturdy.

Excellent product
This was purchased for a non-profit aviary and adoption center. The perch is durable and comfy for their little feet :)

Good size for large birds.
Excellent size for our cockatoo. It is zigzagged across the bottom of his cage and he is often seen running along it and jumping up and down as the wire gives it bounce. We will be buying another one.
