OEM Filter Replacement, What Else Can I Say?
I have been using this filter on my Genesis Coupe 3.8 for years. it fits perfect, is the OEM replacement, and comes with a new aluminum drain plug washer. Really can't be beat. There are some folks that say that this does not fit their car. Question is, is it supposed to? If you car takes the OEM OX 351D filter than this is it. If you car doesn't take this filter, then it probably won't.

Fits on my ride..
I really didn't see any difference from the Napa gold filter or the OEM dealer filter I was buying. 3 or 4 months It'll get changed and I'll see what it looks like. I've read that Mahle is the OEM for BMW and VW. Will probably buy again if the price is right.Update: I Bounce back and forth between the Napa Gold filter #7029 and this filter and still see no difference. Would definitely recommend this filter as OEM replacement.

This filter seems to have changed a bit, may no longer fit your vehicle.
I've been using this filter in my 2012 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 for a while now, and my most recent order was for two filters. I have my oil changes done at one of those quick change shops. I had used one of the two with no problem, but when I took the car to the oil change shop today, they told me the second filter did not fit the car, despite both filters clearly labeled with the same part number. He showed me the filter they removed from the car, and we compared it to the filter I brought with me and they are indeed different. The diameter of the inner hole seems to be smaller on the second of the two filters I had ordered. Also the top and bottom surface of the two filters seem to be of different material. Don't know what to make of this, but I ended up having to install a filter that the shop had in stock.

but will get warped due to the plastic end caps if you torque the filter cap to the recommended 25nm.
This is the OEM filter for 2009-11 Hyundai Genesis 4.6L V8. It fits the oil cartridge perfectly as the manufacturer is also Mahle. Some after mkt products will fit correctly, but will get warped due to the plastic end caps if you torque the filter cap to the recommended 25nm.

... these on my 2012 Veracruz and they fit just like the OEM one
I use these on my 2012 Veracruz and they fit just like the OEM one. Mahle is a supplier for BMW, so if it's good enough for BMW its good enough for my Hyundai.
