This charger is extremely good value and does a fine job both in it's upright and flat positions.I use it to charge a Huawei P20 Lite (with a wireless charging card fitted) and charging times are reliable and very good - even with the mobile in its flip case.I normally use it with a 2.4A Anker USB charger and there are no issues. I have also used it with a 20,000 mAh battery pack (2A USB outlet) on my travels - again with no problems.The LED goes Blue whilst charging and Green once complete.A couple of minor gripes:1/. The surface is slippery so getting a mobile to stay still while travelling can be tricky.2/. The charger 'clicks' into the upright position. There are a couple of very small 'tongs' on the support that need to be pressed inwards to fold everything flat. They are a tad tricky but, to prevent damage when the device is lowered, it shouldn't be forced.Overall, I am very pleased. Just remember, it will not work with 1A 5V USB chargers (2A is the minimum requirement).

I was attracted to the collapsible nature of this stand so I could pack it for holiday or even use it flat. However, it 1) does not have a strong catch so it easily folds and 2) it is sprung-loaded to collapses readily. In short, I often find it collapses when I either pick-up or put-down my phone on the unit. This is a threat to the phone because then you are likely to fumble and damage it. Also note it is all hard plastic to the phone is prone to slip-off if nudged. I have resorted to sticking the clip with bluetack to prevent it from collapsing. Overall I would not recommend. Get a non-collapsible item and one with a slightly rubberised back. Rob M, UK

Generally this is an excellent device, quick to start charging and quick to complete charging. Unfortunately it can also be quick to collapse if you nudge it in just the wrong way while putting your phone on it which then means fiddling about trying to get the balance right and that will always be when you are in a hurry.It charges perfectly through my, really quite substantial, wrap-around case which I didn't expect.Charging is fine when the phone is either vertical or horizontal so you can use it while watching video, reading or playing a game (no pounding the screen, obviously).I have no qualms about recommending this device and realistically, it only deserves to lose half a star for the locking problem, especially at this price.

While it's a nice portable wireless stand up charger, you do get what you pay for.The power protection thing it has going on is almost too good; it constantly cuts out while charging, so you get an interrupted charging process which takes longer not to mention all the vibrating.Unfortunately I'll be returning this one, might suit someone else's requirements though if they want to just put their phone down and leave it there.

Looks good.. Overall good charger. But if you have glossy glass no case phone _ don't risk.. As your phone will slide easy to the side and when you put the phone vertical way - it folds.. with the phone CLAP! Phone lays on its back.. Had to return. Maybe it will work for any of you.. As price and chargIng is not bad. Could have anty slippery features and why folds so easy.. ? A pitty

Please avoid buying this. I thought it was a great device allowing you to use the charger as a stand or flat when the charger is closed. The unit has failed after less than 12 months which is very disappointing. It's not through excessive use as all you do is place your phone on the charger. Amazon are not willing to help as they say this has a 6 month warranty. Please do yourself a favour and purchase a different model. I could have spent less buying from e Bay but have always felt Amazon offer a better service - till now.

This worked well, even with the waterproof case I have my iPhone 8 in. After installation and first charge I immediately ordered another so that I can leave one at my office and have one to carry with me when away. It folds flat and is light so it's great for travel. The directions say that a green light comes on when it's fully charged but this doesn't happen on either of my units. That's not critical to me although it would be helpful if it did.

Like the idea of being able to charge it lying flat or standing up however the reality is I had to use blu tack on it keep it in the upright position otherwise it just falls down every time you try to put your phone on it other than that it works well and chargers through my case no problem at all would have liked to have seen a usbc socket on this
