i want to use this on a 2007 pontiac grand prix GXP 5.3 v8 with the 4t65e-hd transmission. line fittings come with unit?

It comes with generic fittings and hose clamps. I have an '05 Silverado with 5.3 and used hose clamps to factory auxiliary cooler lines.

Has anyone used this model on a 2018 Tahoe ? Will it fit?

This is a universal kit, but I mounted it on my 2011 Silverado

does this fit 2017 altima??

I believe if you check the dimensions it probably won't fit. Otherwise it would work. You will have to check demensions with a tape measure.

Is there any reason you can't mount this upside down (with fittings toward the ground)?

I mounted it fittings down without a thermal bypass(the thermal bypass never seemed to open) and it has work great tranny temp stays around 140-180 depending on outside temp. If you are using the thermal bypass I would say it needs to be mounted with fittings up otherwise your fluid level in the transmission will be higher than recommended due to fluid draining back into the transmission until the thermal bypass opens and allows fluid to flow through the cooler.
