Self help is always appreciated!
Typically, self help style books are filled with high speed thoughts and mannerisms that will bring you all of life's fortunes and lots of money. "Spoiler" this is not one like that. Coopers discussion of the emotional intelligence combined with body language and the need to understand your team/friend/enemy (outrageous comparison but stands out) is genuine and pivital. No back alley promises here except that the more you try, the better at communicating, as a whole, gets better.

Very interesting, great knowledge to have.
Great knowledge to have. Iโve been reading lately instead of wasting my time on social media and video games. This book has taught me a lot about people and their non verbal cues. Itโs a better use of time than watching TV. What do you have to loose?

In the middle
Iโm in the middle on this book. Either I already knew most everything in it or itโs mostly common sense things. Its 4 books in one. Itโs not all about body language. First is basic body language. The others 3 are on emotional language, persuasion and manipulation. I did like the manipulation chapter. Just I expected the book to be all about body language even though it tells us this on the cover. I read the whole book. Not uninteresting but think itโs priced high.

Must read for anyone entering high interpersonal professions.
Very concise information on improving emotional intelligence. Each book provided great topical transitions and tied together the importance of understanding how the use of verbal and body language recognition are essential to improving emotional intelligence.

Tosh! 4 chapters not 4 books!
Extremely disappointing. Firstly, it's 4 chapters at best, not books (author, please check definition of book). Nothing new, elementary knowledge, nothing you couldn't find after a few hours on Google. If like me you're disappointed after spending nearly ยฃ40 on this copy and paste manual then please read Joe Novarro- What Everybody is saying or The Definitive Book of Body Language by Allan & Barbara Pease. Collectively they cost less than this and are both captivating writings on this art.
