even the best photographer doesn't publish every photo on the roll and ...
Another rip off kindle book. A few paragraphs of text, a few photos of the camera, and a lot of photos that seemingly were shot in just a few photo shoots. No editing that I can see. Listen, even the best photographer doesn't publish every photo on the roll and claim that these pictures are all worth the public's time. This the last time that I trust amazon to sell me books that were produced in just a couple of hours of the author's time.

Dissapointing. Poor quality.
I have been using many varieties of film and digital cameras for many years. Have a degree in photography. I realized this would not be a technical manual, but expected some good quality pictures and a little technical info. Even just film type and exposure settings. You know, minimal metadata. This was a big disappointment. Returning it today. Badly reproduced pictures and zero details.

I Think the book contains too little informations
I Think the book contains too little informations, the photograph is not worth the standard, just some old photos, not suggest everybody to buy , it contains just very few Pentax 6 x 7 informations.

Repetitive poorly produced and ill thought out images that do NOT do justice to a great camera
Hi, no reason to complain as this is exactly what it says a purely pictorial book using the Pentax 6x7. It has zero technical merit and not much more artistic merit. There are several [mainly the black and white/monochrome images of derelict tools and buildings, towards the end of the book. The rest are of limited locations, repetitive and I found myself, fanning the book and "flipping" through the pages. I would advocate for better printing, were it not for the fact so few images warrant printing in the first place. My opinion is this does exactly the opposite of the authors quite correct assertion that some old film cameras are a real treat to use, as they do slow you down and being film [expensive and limited number of frames per roll] SHOULD make you think twice about the image you want to achieve. Here the number of mediocre and similar exposures suggest NONE of that slowing down, deliberateness and visualising an image, before you shoot took place. Most are much more akin to the "click away and hope you get a good shot" digital ethos.I can not recommend this and unfortunately for me I bought BOTH the Pentax 6x7 and Pentax 645 books BEFORE I realised how poor the content and reproduction was in this series. Dissapointed, minolta4me-kevin
