Nice bits for drilling and countersinking at the same time. The tapered drill produces a hole that uses the whole screw to grab wood, not just the upper sides, and with the drill shaft engaged in the wood, the countersink hole doesn't chatter and looks great. The adjustability of the countersink head also allows for different length screws, but really short screws can be a problem - long screws just require drilling deeper with a longer bit after starting the hole.Extremely useful item, a real time saver, and seem to work well in pine, plywood, and MDF. Haven't tried them in hardwood yet, but don't anticipate any problems there, just clear the chips more often.I took a scrap piece of 2x4 and drilled holes to store the bits - use one size up, so the #6 drills a hole for the #4 bit, etc. They hold nicely and are easily accessible.

These drill bits are a huge time saver. I like that they taper making it easier to start driving the screw in in predrilled hole.. I also love the perfectly sharp point that prevents it from slipping around when you start drilling the hole.

Drill bits are to small for long screws. ie: over 2 & 1/2". Good countersink though. Just buy longer drill bits.

This thing is great! You can adjust the length of the bit as well as the amount of countersink. Love it!

In my retirement phase of life I do allot of wood projects that require fasteners and this tool is made of excellent material and quite sturdy.I’ve had few where the bits break with any sudden movement. But these have proven to be sturdy. Highly recommend.

Going to give only a middling review. I've had these almost 2 years now and out of the 5 bits, one broke off, and another came out of the hex shank when the countersink cutter caught on the metal of a caster plate. For 2 years of moderate use in remodeling, decorating and construction, I guess I got my money's worth, but I'm going to just try another brand now (and some just plain tapered bits) because I have tended to rely on the two smallest sizes a lot for general pilot holes. The tapered bits are great for pilot holes with or without the counter-sink because they do tend to stay on target as they start, for sure for those times were you haven't punched a starter spot.
