Took ages to browse a suitable replacement for my plastic vent grill because of sizing. This was a solid replacement and fitted easily. Like the smoothness of operation of the slider. Only thing missing is a mesh for the grill so I may have to buy separately.

It’s pretty cheap and cheerful but doesn’t close fully. Ok for what I’m using it for as not on display

This is an ideal item to replace my existing vent which is unsuitable for cold weather outings as the cold wind howls through the plastic standard fitted vents and can cut you in half inside on cold days. This sliding vent allows for adjustable ventilation and also provides a means to block the wind from the windward side of the caravan/ motorhome.The only problem I’m worried about it that I wish it was plastic as I’m concerned the paint finish won’t be durable enough over time. I have coated the inside with a light coat of oil to see it that will help... Fingers crossed. Regards Peter
