Gas Cap, Fuel Cap Replaces 17670-S5A-A32, 17670S5AA32 Compatible with Honda - 2001-2005 Civic, 2002-2004 CRV, 2003-2005 Element, 2001-2005 S2000, 2001-2006 Insight

Warning light came on 2004 CRV with 111,000 miles. Tried reinstalling gas cap several times, same error. Checked rubber on inside cap, saw that seal had a couple of splits so ordered a new cap. Installed new cap and still had same error message. Drove car for about 50 miles, still had warning light. Had AutoZone check error, they printed out Error Code P1456 EVAP CONTROL SYSTEM LEAKAGE (FUEL TANK SYSTEM). (Not the right code for cap error).Continued to drive car anyway and at 70 miles light went out. Still out after 2 weeks of use.

This cap worked perfectly and was half the price of the Honda cap. I would buy again and recommend this product.

Hi I have a problem with this Item after installed in my car the problem comeback check engine light with Evap. system leak Fuel tank . After completed the system diagnostic I found a new fuel cap (This Item ) is defect , the valve in the cap stay open and the cap leak the fuel tank vapors . Please the return window is close in this item but the item have some warranty .

The gas cap is fine perfect fit, but the Amazon driver just threw the package on my windshield in my driveway 🤦🏼‍♀️ There had been so many packages stolen from my house and neighborhood lately. Wasn’t too happy about that!

I had an original 2003 version that was not venting properly and my check engine light would come on and there was pressure in the tank when I removed it. This one solved the problem.

Cost a lot but the cheaper one I returned. The cheap on will keep your cel on. This one the cel went away.

Ended up buying the OEM one for like $50. Seals better than this one. Obd2 code is now gone.
