I am not going to talk much about the nut. Tuaq nuts are fantastic and my go to when replacing a borken or poorly cut nut. This one is going in a g&l asat tribute deluxe.What I will talk about is the seller/shipping. It got in my grubby hands fast. 6 days ahead of schedule. I thought it was a long time to wait, 8 days. I was right. It took a couple days USPS, PA to MA. Good deal.

I was kinda skeptical as to whether I could replace the nut on my guitar by myself. I did the measurements and ordered. I watched a few videos on YouTube and off I go. It didn't take but about 40 minutes total to sand the width and height down then the ends to make it fit perfectly. It sanded very easily with 600 and 400 grit and once I had the fit perfect I finished with the 1000 grit. Man what a difference in tone this thing makes. I'm excited to buy another for my other guitar.

I did some filing and trimming and it seems really good. I changed bridge, saddles, block, pups, controls, strings and nut all at the same time so it's hard to say what the difference is....I'm just happy it's installed and the height is perfect so I can get past the mod'ing and start practicing.

Nut came as described. Needed normal fitment filing, but was a great fit for the Affinity, which is picky about nuts. Tone on open strings is noticeably louder and more full, but not overwhelming or causing balance issues. String slots are deep enough to use without filing. Solid product.

I usually use bone nuts that I make myself but I wanted to see one of these. Fit within half a millimeter and barely had to do any filing to seat the strings. Definitely getting more of these.

Came exactly as what I needed. Make sure you measure and read descriptions of the item before you buy. This was spot on because I knew what I needed for my guitar. Nuts are different on every guitar depending on brand etc.

A very nice nut, great tone! Will buy more in future.
