It doesn’t breakdown when you have days you want to scrub your face off- it still holds integrity and is malleable. It doesn’t negatively interact with other skin care like retinol after. I can use this in the am after a deep night cream and/or at night after a long day at work. I’m on my 2nd bottle which is saying something. Also, I’m a bio female but I got the fuzzy gene, so if you struggle with unwanted hair, (and the issues therein) this is going to be a gentle game changer. I have very oily skin that clogs easily so I require a facial scrub with some abrasive materials. My favorite lemon facial scrub was discontinued and I have been looking for a replacement. After trying several others, this one is the closest fit to my old favorite. It is easy to apply and remove. It actually exfoliates my skin with appropriately abrasive materials. Anyway, I use the product as directed. My face immediately felt soft, fresh, and clean. To ensure my face didn't over dry afterwards, I applied CeraVe moisturizing cream and once that absorbed aquaphor to seal it in. I am very happy with the results and I will use this next time I need to exfoliate my face.

Actually I didnt know I was buying a scrub because the packaging is exactly the same as the cleansing gel. So I tried it for the first time but it turned out great. Very fine scrubbing and leaves a smooth after effect.
