Good arcade style racing
Good game, good variety of cars and tracks, can change settings so challenging enough for different age ranges etc racing line arrows helped kids. Not sure if can remove but drivers names above cars bit annoying

Another Solid Codemasters Racer...
I bought this having played GRID 1, 2 and Autosport in the past, and remembering that those games were actually very competent arcade racers. The new GRID follows a similar formula: simplified handling model, mix of fictional and real circuits and a nice roster of cars from various disciplines. The fundamental gameplay has been enhanced slightly, with a more prominent damage model and much more aggressive AI (a benefit rather than hindrance when you actually start racing).Every race is an event in itself and rarely plays out the same way. You have an AI team mate who you can command to defend and attack depending on where you think they would be best utilised, so if you were struggling to make up places you could use your team mate further ahead in the field to slow down the cars in front of you to gain the places back. Not a hugely complex or unique feature, but can be good fun to try and slightly strategise a race.Multiplayer seems a bit D.O.A but I suspect it's more down to the fact there aren't actually that many people who have bothered to sign up to RaceNet right now. Lobbies are filled with AI to reach the player count, which I prefer. However there was never any more that 4 actual players to a lobby, basically making it like single player but with 4 slightly less aggressive and consistent AI thrown in...I didn't buy this for online so it doesn't bother me, although this is something to consider for those of you buying it to play with others. The handling takes time to get used to as well. Because of it being designed around a controller the out of the box configuration means it is very slow to steer off-centre until it suddenly accelerates the axis so you can reach maximum steering lock. This can make cars initially feel inconsistent, but you just need to practice with both the handling model and get used to easing the throttle and brake in and out of corners-smashing either of these to 100% will just result in a spin. The controls are also completely adjustable and re-mapabble, so you can adjust it however you like.Ultimately, if you are looking for a nice pick up and play racing game I can't think of any other ones for PlayStation that can offer what GRID has. It is easy to use, easy to get into and doesn't stress you out like Gran Turismo or other PS4 racing titles can.

Wait until it's £20
After all the hype of “Grid being back” on the latest generation of consoles, I can’t help but feel shortchanged.Firstly, the tracks. There’s not many of them. After a few hours of gameplay driving the Silverstone international circuit in reverse the game gets a little tedious. There’s just no diversity here in terms of where you’re driving. Yes, San Francisco is back from the original, big whoop. Where’s Spa? Nurburgring? No you won't be on any of them, but Grid can offer you Brands Hatch national reversed. As for the cars, well again, not many of them and what a strange array on offer. They all seem to handle like drift cars too, any excuse to kick the back out and put you in the wall. Yes the handling options can be changed but not drastically.Career mode, it you can call it that, is an array of seemingly random events that you will need to grind through to unlock new cars and enter the "Grid World Series". There's no Le Mans, no team rankings of the original Grid - there's really no big reason to keep grinding. Your team mate is largely irrelevant and the "team" is more of a livery editor than anything else.I'm gutted that this feels like yet another wasted opportunity by Codemasters to reignite this franchise. Hardly any content, a monotonous and grindy "career" and a pointless teammate system.Wait for it to be £20 and for them to create some of those fabled "free tracks". It'll be worth it then.

Worst GRID EVER!!!!!
Nothing wrong wth delivery or packaging so no complaints on that part.As for the game it's 1 of the worst Grid games Codemasters have done.I loved all the others but this 1 seems bland and empty, plus the cars all seem to have the same handling, can't get round the simplest corner without loads of tire noise and interference from driver aids that can't b turned off.Overall very disappointing, last time I buy a full price game!!!

Arcade racer
Good fun racing game. Have spent plenty of hours having a good time racing. Please note this is not a racing sim so if you are looking for physics sets ups etc. This isn’t for you but if you are looking for endless fun racing then I would recommend this arcade style racer. Fine with pad or wheel

Frustrating!
Omg! When you first get this game you think it's amazing it looks stunning the handling is spot on! then after playing it for a few hours the reality sinks in!...... its boring and annoying very samey the Ai just get on ur nerves you have to bully ur way through the pack to get anywhere they block you all the time and break early causing you to smash into them so you just bulldozer them out of the way smashing ur car to bit on the way to the finish line it's frustrating to say the least! Online is a joke! the option are quick match or private match that's it! in quick match you get what ur given and thats it! no choosing what style of racing or track you want! their is no choices or adjustments whatsoever! 16 cars set off 5 or 6 mite be human the rest are Ai and trying to get passed the Ai to race with ur comrades is a joke! save ur money and give this one a miss they got it badly wrong its nothing like the previous Grid series which is a massive shame because they where mint! ☹️

Fast and nice price. Just didn't like it is a Polish version (the cover) other than that the game is amazing and delivery was quick. Recommend

Drive it like you stole it!!
Great game. The graphics in this game are awesome. If you have an HDR setup they are even better. The cars handle like you would expect. Just one fun racing game.
