Good quality product stand up to the test of time
This is the second unit I bought from this vendor, the first unit has been used in my submerged pond for years, it was getting too dirty and clogged, this is the replacement. I found the unit well made, and never give me any trouble throughout the years, I use it daily for 10 hours straight controlled by a timer for my water fountain, great peace of mind equipment.

Great Customer Service
Had an issue where pump failed after a few months. Contacted the seller via email and they sent a new within 5 days. Excellent customer service and the replacement works great. Very much appreciated.

Iโd buy again in a heartbeat
Great value. It really does have some power behind it. I use it in my fountain outside. Size & water flowis almost too powerful for it (if everything doesnโt getcoated with algae). Itโs turned all the way down. It has been a great little pump. I installed it months ago, it sits directly in the Florida sun, so this water fountain will run low daily, and will build up with algae, so what Iโm saying is it basically takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Install installation was a breeze. Iโll be assuming that water cleaning in a indoor fish tank would be a piece of cake for this thing. I canโt use bleach or anything in this water fountain as I have everything swooping down for a drink.

Disappointed but issues fixed
Used this water pump for about two weeks and it was fine till it started making a strange vibration noise, then it just stopped working. I have had other pumps on this fountain and they usually last much longer I know how to clean and take care of the fountain . Not my fault! Would not recommend this pump. After contacting seller they recommended cleaning the into pump, which worked so I changed my mind about this pump.

Seems to be just right.
This pump is easy to use. Comes with the necessary fittings. Moves a lot of water in my smallpond. No noise at all. I spot tied it on a brick for stability and put it in a bag made from landscape cloth; this keeps the pump intake clear and acts as a good filter. Just rinse it off when it gets dirty. DON'T FORGET.... it runs on 110 v. AC. That can kill you.... use a ground fault circuit but be careful also.

Not great for glaze fountain and does badly on intermittent power switches
I got this for a glaze fountain and my main issue is that it behaves really poorly when on a press-activated switch/is turned on and off in short 1-3 second bursts. Sometimes it just doesn't work at all for several foot presses and the next foot press, it is shooting out with aggressive force. For use in a ceramic glaze fountain (very fluid/runny glaze) I have 2 main issues 1) sometimes it starts with a slow and not insane stream and the next press it goes straight to blasting so hard it literally immediately blasts the freshly applied glaze off the piece, so it's very hard to get a consistent glaze. And this is mixed with not turning on at all. 2) even on the lowest setting, it still blasts so hard it washes the glaze off the piece. tbf, i was doing small pieces about 1.5" across, but it was a really wild jet :P More head height or a wider pipe (i was using 1/2") might fix this, but i don't really want a 4' stick on a little 2 gallon bucket. ON the other hand, it does work with standard 1/2" npt pvc fittings, so i was able to just screw a rigit pvc pipe onto the thing, which was pretty great. Wish smaller pumps did that tbh. As an aquarium pump for long term usage it seems totally fine and ive used similar pumps for my aquarium frequently. seems pretty standard for normal person usage. For my use, i ended up ordering a 160gph pump and i'm hoping that behaves a bit better, but who knows.

Overall, this is a versatile and reasonably powerful submersible pump.
I really like that it comes with three different nozzles, which makes it easy to adjust the water output depending on what you're using it for. The pump is compact and easy to position, and the 5.9-foot power cord gives you a decent amount of flexibility when setting everything up.

Off and ON
Has anyone had an issue with these pumps turning off and on by themselves when plugged. It's almost like it stops to cool or reset then starts again all day long...

I got electrocuted the first time I turned it ON!!!
I got electrocuted the first time I turned it ON!!! Luckily the fish was out and I was not seriously hurt. I turned if off and found a crack inside when I inspected it. Dangerous product!
