Self preservation, Dr. Ali is extremely insightful and should be viewed as a pioneer attempting to liberate the uniform minds of many that's blind to facts about heritage, and cultures that have distorted??

Some very real hard truths
This book is a must read; especially for the "modern black woman" it may be painful, however it speaks a lot of truths of how some have been raised and what they can do to make their lives better.
