Allen Designs Roofus Dog Pendulum Clock

This clock hit all the right buttons for me - nice quality (heavy resin that feels more like ceramic), keeps good time so far, easy enough to read considering the style, and oh so funny and sweet to look at. It was easy to hang but be aware it stands out from the wall an inch or so (but is perfectly braced so it hangs straight). It makes a fairly faint ticking sound - I have to be within six or seven feet to hear it, and it is a soft pleasant sort of sound. The tail wagging pendulum works perfectly and makes it even more fun.

Clock looks just like pictures. First one I received the clock didn't work. But they quickly replaced and I returned. The hands of the clock are very delicate, so be careful when unpacking.I have another Allen clock and they are great. Hope I can keep from buying more.

The media could not be loaded.  Good purchase. Just like the picture. It does make sounds of gears moving , not loud. Just normal sound. Looks and feels like good quality . It is unique looking and fun.

My fiancé and I found this clock in an artsy shop that included original work. We both loved how silly and cute 'Roofus' was but I knew it wasn't an original piece and I could find it for a better price.It is well made, ceramic, and looks just like the photo. The tail swings to tick the minutes and it keeps time well although the clock itself doesn't have markings for precise time reading. It's more of a whimsical, light-hearted piece of art than a time keeper. It takes one AA battery, which us not included.We are very pleased with this little clock, it makes us smile and adds a bit of playful cheer to the kitchen.

The media could not be loaded.  We had bought this at an retro art store in South Beach in 2014. It looks like a Chihuahua. We paid much more for it. I broke it. Changing battery and hanging back up. Surprisingly, only an ear and tail broke. My husband found it on Amazon and we had to have again. This time was cheaper. I don’t notice a difference except with the eyes. It’s like I have my favorite clock back in the kitchen again !😀

The clock is AWESOME! Customer service along with FedEx made this purchase HORRIBLE! Need better service period! What a mess made with the delivery. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

It is completely adorable to too small.

I wanted a boxer dog clock for bathroom for grandchildren. Most were in the $25-$30 range. I opted to try "Roofus" at $65. I am extremely glad I did. Roofus is wonderful!!! A+++. Nicely made, well detailed and finished, breeze to put on wall. Tail waging away. It's just great...lots of fun.

Resembles our dog number 2, food obsessed one so this image of a canine cutie clutching bones in each paw and wagging his tail (pendulum) non stop is an accurate representation. The material it’s made of feels like heavy shiny ceramic. Pretty good quality, attention to detail.
