This Fish Tape Leader works Great and makes my 125ft Klein Tools 1/8" Steal Fish Tape work 10 time more effectively! Almost eliminates snags forward or back. Only thing I was initially concerned with was cutting off the end of my Fish Tape, making the small fold at the end, then and attaching this Leader..... but it was well worth it. at a glance, it didn't look like it was made to fit on to it, but it did and works great. I would just say - follow the instruction to attach it and once its' attached, tighten it firmly so it will never come loose.... Also you don't necessarily need to heat up the Fish Tape to break the end off or fold the tip.... if you keep bending back & forth the fish tape end (before the folded clip shape at the end) will eventually snap off and then you can use good strong pliers to bend, fold tightly at the end...

This is the kind of leader I used when I was a journeyman electrician (now retired.) It's great, not hard to install using a mini torch.

The fish tapes of once upon a time used to have a tiny tiny leader eyelet but no super flexible leader like this. This is a very nice addition to your fish tape for pulling wire through spaces once fished up-to or in location. Attach this guy and it will make the pull a little smoother. Bottom line you don't NEED this but if you are pulling wire a lot with your fish tape, you will want one. Klein tools are always on point and this one is no exception.

Makes pulling wire so much easier!

Really easy to install on a fish tape. This thing makes pushing a tape through conduit so much easier. No snags around multiple 90° bends in 1/2". The only drawback is it will not wind up with the rest of the tape. I could take it off and store separately but I would lose it.

This thing makes pulling wire (or getting the fish thru the conduit to pull the wire) so easy, it's almost criminal! Love it, wish I'd heard of it sooner.

Very helpful for replacing the original pulling eyelet that is somewhere in my wall. The flexible yet stiff end threads through conduit better than the original. The original might be better for fishing through walls-not sure. Easy to install, but I don’t think I’d try it without a propane torch. Only complaint is that the eyelet is kinda small. I can get 3x 12 ga THHN into it. If you have to pull multiple branch circuits it takes some taping and hoping or two pulls
