Freeze Defense 3in1 Men's Winter Coat Jacket Warm Parka w/Insulated Snow Vest

Definitely designed for nasty weather, blowing rain snow. Like the pull out vest, large pockets for gloves, phone, conceal carry, both main outside pockets are uninsulated wish they were insulated. The size was larger than expected, the hood is large enough for construction hard hat, Can tighten bottom jacket, hood. Bulky for loading into std luggage, duffle bag ok.

This coat is great! Fits my 6’3”, 315 lb hubby with room to spare! Impressive multiple uses!

NORMALLY, I WEAR LARGE BUT XXL WAS RECOMMENDED. THE XXL JACKET WAS MADE IN CHINA WHERE THEIR XXL IS DIFFERENT. FOR ME, IT WAS PERFECT. I DONATED MY OLD WINTER COAT TO THE MISSION AFTER I RECEIVED THIS ONE. ALREADY SEVERAL COMPLIMENTS ON ITS BEAUTY, HOW WARM IT LOOKS, AND I CAN TELL YOU HOW WARM IT ACTUALLY IS SITTING IN SUB-FREEZING WEATHER AND MY WELL PROTECTED BODY NOT EVEN AWARE OF ANY COLD. THE PRICE FOR THE LOOKS AND WARMTH WAS WORTH IT. JUST REMEMBER TO ORDER A COUPLE SIZES UP.

So I just got the coat. I have not had the chance to use it in the cold yet. As some have said the coat is a bit heavy, but not too much. I did not notice or recall reading reviews that say the coat has no buttons. Instead, it has one inch plus strips of velcro on the front and the hat. It would have been much better with snap on buttons. The zipper is plastic. It is gray in color. I guess it is supposed to look metallic. Did not fool me.Also, the hat seems to have been made for a Cone Head, it is too big. The bottom half should be taken in a little bit to help keep the wind and cold under control. The collar also needs to be a little smaller. The string at the waist needs to be a bit more hardier.It has a fair amount of front pockets. I like that it has side pockets at the bottom as well as top entry pockets. The inside chest pocket is not too big, but will do.The vest is fairly good. It fits snug on me. I am overweight. The vest is reversible and has side pockets with zippers.I might give it five stars if it works out in the cold, rain and snow.

I finally decided to get a new heavy parka after using the same one for twenty years. After reading reviews on this and other items, I decided to purchase the Freeze Defense 3 in 1 Parka. It arrived just a couple of weeks before Christmas and it just so happens that this Christmas weekend has been one of the coldest here in a long time. I live in South Georgia so we don't usually have a long or severe winter. I go to work early in the mornings and that is usually the only time of day that gets near freezing, but I like to have a coat that makes it comfortable. This year the temperatures overnight have been in the twenties with a wind chill tonight of 15 degrees. I just walked around outside wearing the parka without the zip in vest and felt none of the cold! This coat is amazing! My legs and nose were cold but the parts covered by the coat were vacationing in the tropics on a summer day! I don't believe I could use the zip-in vest with the coat unless I was actually visiting Santa at the North Pole! And the amount of pockets is wonderful! I love having lots of pockets and this coat doesn't disappoint! Now, you may be like me and not know whether to believe everyone who said the coat is sized a bit big and to order a size smaller than normal. It's the truth! I am 6 feet tall and weigh 290 pounds, so I'm a bit of a full-figured guy and always get a 3xl. I decided to roll the dice and get a 2xl. I'm so glad I did, it fits great with plenty of room! Trust me, go a size smaller than you normally would. I hope Santa's outfit is this warm. If not, then I would suggest he get one of these for flying across the winter skies in an open sleigh! Where were these coats when I was a paramedic and would have to spend hours on an accident scene in the middle of a freezing night? Anyway, I highly recommend this coat to anyone who wants to stay warm or who wants to join Batman in fighting Mr. Freeze!

First things first. The supplier has provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. You will absolutely not be dissatisfied if you buy from them. Second, this is a really good coat for the price and very warm. As to the customer service, by the sizing chart, there is no question I would require a medium, which is what I ordered. It was a bit too large even when there was heavy clothing under it. The vest could be secured in more places, I found it a little awkward to get into with arms going in between the vest and the inside of the coat, but Chris (with the manufacturer) said they are already addressing that and some other issues. Anyway, I decided to simply order a small, determine which size I liked best and then send the other one back. As soon as I placed the second order, I got a very nice and insightful e-mail from the Chris asking if I just wanted two of them or was unhappy with the size. I indicated that size was the reason, and he then explained that it was the Amazon sizing chart, not theirs, that is shown. He offered to send a small with a return label, told me to pick the one I wanted and send the other back at no charge. The small is snug (I'm 5'8', 155 pounds) but it is really warm and comfortable, keep that in mind when ordering. I very highly recommend this coat and this company.

A very warm, coat, quite flexible in use in terms of the 3 options available. Good looking, construction seems to be of high quality, good seams, etc. Fit was exactly as specified; they said they were confident in the sizing, and so far as I can attest, it's spot on. I feel this to be an excellent value.

Got this for a homeless gentleman that is a 6x . Got it a size bigger to ensure it fits. He was so happy to have this jacket. Tons of pockets and the ability to wear it as a vest was awesome
