These were not as good as I hoped for. We buy instant mashed potatoes a lot, and I can usually make them very similar to real mashed potatoes by adjusting the amount of liquid. These need some sweet potatoes mashed in with them, and then they'd probably be ok. The texture was very much like cream of wheat in your mouth. Not in the pan, but in the mouth. Very weird. I duded them up with maple syrup, cinnamon a pinch of nutmeg, and walnuts with coconut sugar on top to make it more like a sweet potato casserole. Still needed something....not sure what. They were much better that way than on their own, and I was so excited they had them in stock, I bought 8 bags lol. I suppose by the 8th bag, maybe I'll have perfected them. We'll eat them, but probably won't be buying them again. I think the mixture of the two potatoes doesn't work. The roughness of the sweet potato fiber is probably the issue. Oh well, they were fun to try, but if you are looking for a substitute for sweet potatoes, this probably isn't going to do it. I bet some canned pumpkin added to it would work really well. Think I'm gonna try that next.

They are made with a combination white potatoes and sweet potatoes. I just add butter and a little brown sugar to them and they taste good. I started buying this product about 10 years ago. I use them for daily use and long term storage. The texture is different than regular instant mash potatoes, that's because fresh sweet potatoes have a different texture than a white potato. They are not always easy to find. So I buy them when I can.

Has good flavor though very sweet. More of a sweet potato pie sweet than a side dish.

If you’ve ever made instant potatoes from a bag, you know how easy it is! These have a little more to them (using milk), and they are so delicious! They have all the seasoning you would want already mixed in as well. I use them alongside canned sweet potatoes to make a casserole with marshmallows on top as they just add a little something extra. They are wonderful by themselves as well. Now if only I could find them in the grocery store!!

Ok for a dry mix sweet potato. I followed directions but they came out quite thick and heavy. Flavor is a little to sweet for my liking. But with some butter as a side dish, they were ok. Probably will stick to the real sweet potatoes from now on though.

Would never buy this again. It's basically instant potatoes with enough sweet potato thrown in it just give it some sweet potato flavor but not much it's basically instant mashed potatoes. Which by themselves I like but these are terrible and I'm not a fussy eater but they're terrible. Very disappointed!

I had not had these before and it taste and smells like a desert they have milk and butter so not low fat or calorie

I LOVE THE WAY THIS TASTES! Plus the TEXTURE and EASE of preparation .Only problem for ME personally is that it causes an inflammatory response!! A lot of foods do for me. So within 10 minutes of eating it my face is a little puffy and my abdomen bloats right out .
