Stacked 3 boxes of books no problem
We're in the process of moving, and had about 40 small, but heavy boxes of books to bring up from the basement. We own a refrigerator dolly, but it's dirty and I didn't want to use it on the carpet. My husband was skeptical that this lightweight cart would work, but he's a believer now! He stacked 3 boxes of books at a time and secured the top ones with a piece of rope or bungee cord. He was able to pull this up our stairs fairly easily. He's 6'2" and the longer handle on this particular cart makes all the difference. For me (5'6" and out-of-shape) a single box of books at a time was all I could safely manage. It was a struggle for me to pull the weight uphill, but at least I could rest the cart on each step as it rolled up. I couldn't have carried the same box up the stairs in my arms. The bottom shelf looks wimpy but has held up fine, and it is very close to the floor for loading. We're careful to always use both handles, and have had no problems. We're retired, so we're keeping this around to save our backs.

Best thing since sliced bread
This hand truck is still going strong. One of the screws came loose on a wheel assembly, no harm no foul. Put some Loctite on it and we'll see how long before it comes out again. The balance between lightweight and sturdy can easily be seen in this unit. The handle when fully extended has a lot of lateral movement and if you're not care full you could break it. But if you use it properly it will last a long time. If you live upstairs this thing will pay for itself in a few trips. When we go to Costco, we load up our collapsible crates at the register. At home you load the crates on this truck and up the stairs you go. Then when you're done it all breaks down to a small footprint.

Worth Every Penny
This 3-wheel (actually, 6-wheel) foldable dilly is “all that and a bag of chips!” Lightweight, easy to fold and infold, wheels move smoothly and quietly. Excellent. Helpful for this old lady moving MANY boxes herself up the long flight of stairs to my new second-story apartment. Life saver. The only negative, which I think may be temporary is that the yellow button that you push to raise and lower the handle is stiff and difficult to push. It could be because it’s new and needs to loosen up a little, or it may be that way by design to prevent accidental raising or lowering of the handle when not intended. Not sure, but this dolly/cart was worth every penny for the time it is saving me.

Weak handle design and not great moving around corners
If you are going in a straight line you will not have much of an issue; however, the moment you want to go around a corner or when you are transitioning from one flight of steeps to another on a landing you will discover that maneuverability is genuinely lacking.I used this cart for moving my kids into their dorms, one trip down a single flight of stairs. My next use was for moving up three flight of stairs, a total of 45 steps, yes I counted. The first trip was with a mini-refrigerator, and the next trip up the stairs was with three IKEA bags of clothing. Nothing was close to the rated 200lbs. Not sure I could have managed anything close to that on the stairs. About halfway thru the climb, the handle snapped off. I am glad that the load was light, and I was able to control it with my other hand and was able to complete the rest of the climb while using the center of the handle. I had to stop using the cart at this point and complete the rest of the trips carrying the bags by hand or using the backpack style straps that come on the IKEA bags. This cart is not worth the price or any price as far as I am concerned if it is going to last no more than 2.5 uses.

Folds too easily; more for heavy duty use.
Bought this for elderly parents to make it easier to bring things up from their basement. Ended up returning because it folds up too easily and we were afraid it would collapse unexpectedly. We also felt it was a little too heavy duty for their needs as they would not be lifting heavy weights upstairs. It's also a little too wide for the path up their stairwell, as they have a few items on the edges, and it's not super wide to begin with.Decent product, but not for our intentions. They REALLY should work out the design flaw of it folding too easy before someone gets hurt. If you want to use it for heavy items, you might be ok because the weight of the item (s) would probably keep it open.It shipped in a secure box, arrived quickly, returned no problem. No assembly was needed.

Exactly as advertised...but I didn't push the weight limit
I lived on the 3rd floor of an apartment building with no elevator. I bought this after much research to handle boxes and furniture like book shelves and night stands. I thought it worked really well and handled the stairs really nicely. Some reviewers mentioned that the unit is bad on corners, but I didn't notice any problem. One thing I did note, even with loads around 100lbs the handle would bend. I did not push this to it's 200lb capacity, and I wouldn't recommend it. I give it 5 stars because, for me, it worked exactly as advertised, was easy to use, was priced fairly, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Cheaply constructed, breaks easily
The first one I ordered arrived broken. To be fair, that wasn't the manufacturer's fault, although they didn't pack it with any sort of protection in the box. When I contacted them, they very quickly sent me out a new one- great customer service. However, the replacement also broke while moving about 140lbs of boxes (much less than the 200lb rating), when coming down a single 6" stair. Between the two, I was able to make a single one that worked, but then it broke in multiple other places (handle, base, wheel, another part of the base). I like the design, but the plastic parts are too weak for 200lb. I wouldn't go above 100lbs with this, ever.
